Seven Seconds.....

Currently watching s3 e5. I've seen this episode so many times but completely forgot about the moment when mom goes on the intercom and talks about her daughter and starts crying. The camera pans to the aunt and she's sitting there like she's bored. Whole time, she's the one "kidnapped" the girl (her niece). I know it's TV and not real but I seriously get mad. Just wanted to vent a little lol!!

10/2024 picture and 6/2026 picture

So I do NOT take pictures. Picture with grey bag is from 10/2024 on RCL cruise ship weighing at 248 (took me some time to find this picture). Next picture is from tonight 6/2026 weighing at 214 (guess I should start taking pictures). I see a slight difference but that's just because I look at myself everyday in the mirror. Still gotta ways to go to gw!

GLPs and Endoscopy does not mix

Had same-day surgery scheduled this morning to get an EGD (upper endoscopy) and an EUS (ultrasound of digestive tract/liver). A nurse called me yesterday to go over some information and the biggest thing she said was I could only have clear liquids after 12a. Easily something I can handle. Get to hospital, check in and get to the back, another nurse ask when the last time I eat. Till her it was about 7p last night. She looks SHOCKED and tells me I might have to reschedule. Explains that they have recently learned that those on GLPs are not really digesting food as quickly so it's hard for doctors to do surgery(endoscopy) so they like for patients to only have clear liquids within the 24 hours before. Comes back in the room and I need to reschedule. Not mad, just hard for me to schedule things like this as you need someone to drive you home after procedure. This is an alert for anyone who may have something similar coming up

EDIT: I have my new procedure scheduled for next month. I just want to get this over with.

It FIT, it ACTUALLY FIT!!

I have a little Yorkie/Bichon Frise mix and I started taking him on longer walks few months ago. I needed a small bag that I could carry treats and/or my phone. Got one and of course I didn't look up the size or how big it could expand (it's similar to a fanny bag/around waist). When I first tried it on, it would not fit. Then I loosen the belt to the biggest and it was still very TIGHT! I have not tried to wear it again in months. Tried earlier today and it fits now. I even had to tighten it some. I am too excited about this. It's the little things!!

Just in shock

This may not amaze others but I'm just excited about it. With today being Monday, it was time for me to take my weight. I step on the scale and in my mind I'm not expecting any significant drop. Well, there was not a big drop BUT I lost 4lbs since Friday and that was big for me. I look at that scale and see 217.4. I don't know when the last time I was under 220. When it comes to weightloss, the little things excite me 😀

Food/drinks no longer taste good

Has anyone had food (mainly drinks for me) that you use to love but they no longer taste the same after being on Zep? I was a big soda drinker. 15 years ago Mtn Dew was my choice then I switched to Pepsi. I would buy the 6pk bottles. After I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, I cut back on them but I still needed atleast 2/month. In the past month, they have started to taste weird or flat. No matter if it was from the bottles or from a can. It just don't have the same taste. There have been couple other food items that don't taste the same but that's a whole different story.
