Do leftists not want there to be a distinction between anime and animation from other countries?

I sometimes see people on Reddit claim that Western animation, including certain indie projects is "anime," even though the term typically refers to Japanese animation. Whenever I point this out, I get downvoted and they argue that "anime" is just short for the English word "animation," but I feel that misses the point. It doesn't seem right to lump Western animation in with anime when they are fundamentally different in both writing and art style.

Is there really no explanation as to why Miku is playable?

The writers put work into explaining the logic behind Phantom Idols and Summer alts being playable so it feels jarring that there’s no explanation as to why Wonder can summon Miku in battle?

I thought Phantom Idols were supposed to be people he met yet the only thing Wonder did was see her on a billboard? I feel like that hardly qualifies. There’s also the theory that Phantom Idols are people he met in past timelines in which case can we play that timeline instead if it means we’ll actually get a story for this event?

My ranking of the game’s openings in terms of animation

Show Stealer - Beautifully animated, love the design of the characters and how well it represents the two chapters it covers. Best opening we’ve gotten so far.

Ambitions and Visions - A bit vague as far as openings go but has great animation. It serves as a good introduction to the early cast.

Twins Opening - Great animation like A&V, the title screen transition is probably the best out of any opening.

P3R Opening - While it does have good animation I would’ve liked to see more content rather than it mostly being a montage of the SEES cast. (It’s also hard to get over than Koromaru png)

Miku Opening - It’s good at times and I love the way it features Miku but the animation itself looks janky at times and looks like it has moving png’s in some scenes, otherwise it’s pretty good.

P5FES - Just a montage of the P5D cast, sad to say the animation is pretty subpar and low in frame rate, pretty boring honestly.

P5 Opening - Technically not an opening but it does show up when you first open the P5 event tab so I’m counting it, pretty much all the same issues as the P5FES opening but even more boring in terms of content.

I think that before introducing a new female character Oda should draw them as a man first

Makoto Yuki and Yukari for a 4 week P3RE collab event followed by Berry who’ll be released along with part of main story and then Elizabeth as the anniversary character.

Akihiko will probably be delayed until after the two summer units because according to a cn player I’ve heard from, the P3 collab was unpopular and caused a drop in sales in other servers due to its length which probably makes it unlikely that they’ll run it for two months straight.
