The Galactic High Commissioner in The Galileo Seven

I don't think I've despised a character more in all of Star Trek.

Forgetting his fashion choices which include an ascot and a bizarre half cape, all he does is annoy Kirk and says nothing of value.

He just reminds Kirk how difficult his task is or admonishes him for sending them out in the first place or reminding him how they'll have to abandon the search.

"You don't think you'll have any success, do you?"

How did this a-hole become a Galactic High Commissioner by saying stuff like this?

Optimal companions to finish the game with?

I was just wondering if there was a consensus for the best companions that can form a party that will tolerate working together?

I also have Seige of Dragonspear and intend to play it afterwards if that makes a difference.

I don't mind playing a smaller party for a while since I can manage with a terrible team on hard difficulty. If I stick to core rules I can manage with a 3 or 4 man team for a while.

I'm also guessing a neutral alignment would be best for my main character to help balance my team?

Is it considered optimal to use certain characters for a while and then switch to others? I know it's worth it for a minute in order to take any good items they might have like Neera's bag of gems.

I've finished the game already with a "good" team w/Jaheira, Khalid, Branwen, Imoen and Ajantis and a Sorcerer main.

I've also finished it with an evil team with Montaron and Xzar, Viconia, Dorn, Kagain and a Mage main.

Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition - best way to use a fully customized team?

I've created a game with a 6 man custom team but I'd prefer to use less characters early to increase early experience pts.

What would be the best way to do this?

Do I just leave 2 characters at the Gorion ambush site till I'm ready to use them or is there a better method?

I've played the game twice already, the last time on Core rules mode. I'll probably try "Hard" next and wanted a custom team.

Any suggestions on a team is welcome.

I'm starting a new game. My main on this one is an Elven Fighter/Mage multiclass which I'm finding underwhelming because my constitution is too low.
