My name is Tyler and I’m a 30 year old male, and I’ve lived here since July of last year and I am making this post to (hopefully) pool together some ideas for how to make friends in St. Augustine

For those that have moved here in this age range, what was the best method for you to make a consistent friends and/or friend group?

I’ve lived in the Tampa Bay area for the last several years and there were innumerable ways to make friends (for me, attending events/hosting events worked the best) - I am concerned the social infrastructure of the area may not be able to hold consistent meetup groups like Tampa can. I’ve flirted with the idea of starting a social group here through instagram/meetup/facebook
