[Spanish] My fanmade Promo Cards

Hi again! I have been posting some of my promo cards for AHLCG events here in Spain translated from Spanish to English, and now I bring to you all the original cards (well, most of them 🤔)
I'll try to explain some of them, as most won't make any sense if you don't understand Spanish:

¡Euskera!: Euskera is a language from northern Spain, from a region named Basque country, and it sounds very similar to Eureka! The card is entirely translated into this language, and I modified the original image to include a txapela, a type of headwear typical from this region.

Avalancha de erratas: this card's title is spelled very similarly to "Avalancha de ratas" (Swarm of rats), and it would translate to something like "Swarm of erratas". It is made of erratas, obviously.

Batidora: in Spanish, batidor means pathfinder, and batidora means blender, so you blend them together and... batidor con batidora.

Blob Jenkins: same joke as the English version: Blob Jenkins.

Ceñirse al Flan.

Shrivelling was translated into Spanish as Consunción. Consumición, however, means beverage (usually a free one, the one you would get when attending an event). I reused this one for 3 events, so our players would eventually get a full set. Also, it was a great reminder that we were giving a free consumición during some of our events.

Overpower was translated into Spanish as Dominar. which sounds quite similar to a certain game... The text also references yet another game: chess. (and yes, the tiles are wrong on purpose).

Falta de entusiasmo.

Hucha de bombero: Hacha means axe, and Hucha means piggy bank (or a box that stores money). This one not only uses similar words, but similar meanings too, and it makes sense that the axe gets heavier when you load it with money! This was the first illustration I did all by myself, and one of my favourites.

Lego Anderson.

Lego de Luca.

Maracas.

Tarta de los evos: Eon chart was translated as carta de los evos. Tarta means cake, and sounds quite similar to carta. One of the very fist I made. I guess it could work in English with something like "eon tart".

Hope you like them!

LEGO Anderson

Hi again!
You guys loved the LEGO de Luca promo card that I made as gifts for events here in Spain, and today I bring 3 LEGO themed promo cards. Of course, you can play Luca with him!

Some friends liked it so much that they ordered matching LEGO pieces and made an awesome guide to create your own LEGO Anderson minifigurine, you can find more here (in spanish): Rincón Miskatonic

Underzealous

Another promo!

This one was very hard to paint for me, the original has great lighting, pose and energy, that are very hard to match.

The original Spanish translation for this one is something like "overly enthusiastic", and this version would be "not enthusiastic enough". It still does the same thing, there is no escaping from this monster of a basic weakness.

I know that "underzealous" is not a real word, but I found it funny.

Blob Jenkins

The blob is one of our most played scenarios, and I made this one as a gift for one of our events; and I might reprint it for a future event. It was very fun to draw this one!

Redditor Bankey1443 also posted a custom investigator using the same pun here. I had already drawn this card, but never posted it here before.

Stick to the Flan

Fortunately, this pun works both in English and Spanish!

I am sorry if this makes you think of desserts every time you use this card. That wasn't part of the flan.

¡Maracas!

Here's another one of my silly promo cards for events, this one was gifted to the winners of a Winter gala release event (I wanted something cool but useless).

I got the idea from this card (I dont play MTG, but I love that community, so many great ideas). Original illustration by Serge de Vries.

LEGO de Luca

Hi, everyone!

I organize some AHLCG events here in Spain, and I usually craft some promo cards with puns and funny illustrations as gifts for the players.

Most of them don't really work when translated into English, however some of them do. Here's the one and only LEGO de Luca!
