Heading to Japan in Mid-December and would love to grab a round or three while I am there. I understand that I'll likely want to look further south, but curious if anyone has any firsthand experience, recommendations, etc. for winter golf in Japan?

Staying at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn this fall and am planning on playing the Sonoma Golf Club while I have access. Any insider tips, thoughts, dos, don'ts, etc. from those who have been?
