Alone goose at pond

Is it normal that there’s a lonely goose at my local neighborhood pond? For the past year I’ve come here, the geese always fly away together at around 7 PM and it’s currently 9 PM

I apologize for the poor photo quality, it’s hard to get photos at night

Duck keeps approaching me

So recently, this duck who I’ve named Lady Hen has been occasionally approaching me when I come to the pond. She usually swims up to me while I’m sitting, walks around me for a minute, and swims away. Yesterday she actually poked at my shoe twice with her beak! She’s the only duck that comes up to me, the ducks here walk away when people get near them (unless they start tossing food)

Does anybody know why she’s doing this? I don’t mind it, I just think it’s interesting

I managed to get a photo of teeth (plus other photos)

I was able to get pretty close to the geese yesterday and got a photo of their tiny chompers

Recreating the first salvage location in Blender

I'll probably release the blend file when I'm done with it

I saved 3 ducklings!!

I was going to my local pond for my daily visit and noticed a female mallard quacking while circling the pond’s drain. I heard chirping so I straight up went into the muddy pond and made my way towards it to see the ducklings inside. I had to call my dad to bring a net since they weren’t in arms reach. We were eventually able to scoop them out and they reunited with their mom!! :D
I’ve never been so proud of myself, I hope the mother and her ducklings have a very good life

Two Canada geese have a unibrow but too small to be a giant Canada goose

Does anybody know why these two Canada geese have a unibrow? I thought that was unique to the giant Canada goose

I started volunteering at a duck sanctuary

I started volunteering at a duck sanctuary!! It was pretty fun too. I did stuff like replace the straw, fill their food bowls, etc…
It was such a great feeling being able to fill their bowls as they excitedly watched me
I even saw the two ducks I helped rescue a couple weeks ago! (Shown in the photos)
I’m definitely going to regularly volunteer there

Dumped ducks in my garage

I have a runner and a black(?) Swedish in my garage. I have them in there until my local duck rescuers (Michigan Duck Rescue and Sanctuary) pick them up tomorrow. Is there anything I can do for them while I wait? They’ve been hiding in the corner for the past half hour. So far we’ve put a plate of lettuce and bird seed along with water bowls

I’m worried they’ll die of starvation/dehydration before the rescuers arrive

Any help would be appreciated

Is this little guy dirty or are his feathers torn? He’s looked like this for the past week
