MT10 in impossible to drive, is it normal?
Hey fellas! I own MT10 2016 Gen1 and getting really frustrated. Love the bike and want to keep it, but have a big problem. Bought used but in good condition, 25k km. I also own Kawasaki Z1000 2010 and from day one MT10 was weird in terms of driving. I understand, these are two different engines, and Z100 is linear, when MT10 is pretty much a race bike and I love it, BUT. It's impossible to ride smoothly.
What I mean by that is when i hold throttle in one position it is twitchy, like literally I am cruising and it just twitches and "bites" at random moments. It's not smooth at all. When accelerate it's all fine, but cruising or controlling speed with throttle is next to impossible, it snaps and kicks all the time.
Mechanically it's sound, I've invested already over 2 grand in the engine, all maintenances done, but it is still like that. I was reading that for Europe, MT10 being Euro4, they installed conservative fuel cards and it behaves like this cause of that? I have watched so many videos where guys ride MT10 smoothly as f. Even on like 5th gear people are going 60 km/h and it's all good. For me I have to keep revs around 5k at least to make it more smooth.
Do I HAVE to like go to dyno and tweak? But for me it's nonsense that bike from the factory has to get dyno tweaks, can't be right?
Am I crazy, is it supposed to be like that?
Thank you in advance!
