G615LW thermal issues
today my 1 year old G615LW has shown signs of thermal issues, ive made sure to routinely clean and have kept it very well cared for but after doing an update earlier today it turned off mid bios update.... i managed to get the bios updated through ez flash and then had another issue of it randomly turning off. i decided to clean off and reapply thermal medium as i havent done that yet on this laptop, .... you can guess what awaited me .... liquid metal, after throughly cleaning all the liquid metal off i added some kryonaught thermal grizzly paste. after getting it all back together and having a successful boot i needed to reboot an hour or two later and found that it had the same issue..... managed to get into the bios menu to see that the cpu temp was 105c (like wtf) i took it all arart again and reseated the heat sync and made sure all the fans and connectors were connected and managed to get it booted again after many boot fails again. ive checked my warrenty and seen that im now outside the warrenty so thats not helpful, but im hoping there a suggestion to help otherwise my next port of call is going to be a new heat sync/radiator to see if thats what the cause is. all fans work fine and the cpu seems to be at 95c currently.
please help cause this was my first high end purchase and i dont know what else to do other than finding a computer repair shop to look at it
