Ahmedabad folks, for a 6-12 month unfurnished flat, rent furniture/appliances or OLX/local shops?

Taking an unfurnished flat around SG Highway/Gota/Thaltej/Science City side and the boring basics are adding up.

bed

mattress

fridge

washing machine

desk/chair

I’m also the kind of person who checks society lift timings before ordering anything bulky, because ek baar tempo aa gaya toh drama starts.

rough math:

OLX/FB/local used bundle: ₹25k–45k

tempo/labour: ₹1.5k–4k

plus lift timing, repair risk and resale headache

buying new feels sensible only if staying 18–24+ months.

renting looks okay for uncertain tenure, but only if pickup, closure, deposit/refund and damage terms are clear.

I’m comparing OLX/local shops/Furlenco/CityFurnish/Rentomojo and buying new.

My current thinking:

new mattress

used desk/chair/bed frame

rent fridge/washer if stay is uncertain

buy used appliances only if I get a very clean deal

avoid big wardrobe/sofa for now

Ahmedabad people, what actually worked here?

Any areas/shops/platforms to avoid?

Where exactly is the line between social-warning cinema and propaganda? Kerala Story 2 confused me more

Kerala Story 2 dekh ke honestly thoda confusion hu.

Critics toh full negative ja rahe hain, NDTV ne 1 star de diya, HT ne bola it’s loud and preachy, aur mostly sabka same point hai: no nuance, bas message thopna hai.

But audience side utni simple nahi lag rahi. BookMyShow pe ratings achhi hain, aur kaafi log OTT pe dekh bhi rahe hain even if just to understand ki itna hype ya lafda kis baat ka hai.

Toh real question yeh hai: propaganda actually bolte kisko hain? Agar strong message hai toh propaganda? Phir toh kaafi political films us category mein aa jayengi. Agar villains oversimplified hain, toh woh toh almost har mainstream film mein hota hai. Agar religious topic hai, toh woh definition thodi vague ho jaati hai. Ya phir issue yeh hai ki film complexity ki jagah fear aur shock use karti hai impact ke liye?

Main yeh nahi bol raha ki film achhi hai, kaafi jagah pe it literally feels like it’s hammering the point.
