💗💜💙 Bi-Icons 💗💜💙

Fun fact! My orginal headcanon for these two was Chazaq was a bisexual man and Koka was his very supportive, straight wife.

Then the short came out and now the two are swinging both ways together. B)

Good for them

Two of the new canonical They/Thems and a gaggle of the old. 🟨⬜️🟪⬛️

Quite interesting so many of the previous offical nonbinary characters are holy beings... 🤔

Almost like they are too powerful to be held down by the very concept of binary gender itself...

Also if anyone replies to this without reading this caption, as I know many of you are want to do given some of my discussion posts, and tries to say The Goat and The Lamb aren't "offically" or "canonly" nonbinary, I will be very disappointed.

In *offical* media, The Lamb (and by extention of the dark mirror thing the Goat) as they/them. It's been confirmed they're enby multiple times over.

In Ur own game or AU, they're whatever you want them to be.

The Sun Is A Lonely Star (Father's Day art)

I know the real reason is game mechanics and story progress and junk, but I like to think the reason Chazaq made a grave for himself alone instead of being burried with Koka and his children is that he felt he didn't deserve it.

He couldn't defend Keru and Aza from the Bishops. He couldn't bring himself to end their suffering through scarfice.

He didn't deserve to be the one to cradle them through eternity.

Anyway, happy Father's Day. I got my dad a sack of peanuts and a T shirt.

Fourth time trying to post this. I am going to scream. Reddit, please stop messing up the panel order, for the love of Lamb.🙏 🙏 🙏

OK the first two times were totally on me for not double checking the grammar in the title and forgetting a panel.

But the 3rd time was reddit app being confusing and messing up the order bc I dared to delete a picture.

Anyway...

Their break-up left repercussions that are still being felt to this very day...

Narinder refuses to worship The Lamb, but he does allow himself to worship The Red Crown--even if he and The Red Crown didn't part on good terms.

Here's what the Crown is saying btw

And those first few centuries of him wallowing and whining about being trapped--it was so annoying!

I was trapped, too, but he never asked me how I was handling it! It sucked for me, too!

And then he goes and passes me around like a joint at a frat party to all these unworthy vessels!

He gave me to a *fish* who lasted only 3 years before she gave me back!

At least the Rat knew how to use me! The fish couldn't throw a curse! She just looked a little like his first follower and he was feeling "nostalgic" blah blah blah

Ducks redesigned!

I decided to redesign how I draw the duck siblings mainly because I hate drawing their feather cloaks. It’s a pain in the butt, so I decided to simplify and personalize their clothes instead.

I tried to be a little better at giving them each different body types, since their life styles are so different.

Chemach is built with toned legs, since she travels on foot a lot. Kudaai is a brick from swinging his hammer and working with the forge. And Clauneck both doesn’t move much and forgets to eat more often than not, so he’s a twig of a man.

Chemach’s scars are mostly from accidents while traveling, but the ones on her arm and back are from angry mortals trying to steal Crowns from her.

The scars on Kudaai’s lower arms and legs are from mishaps in the forge. The big one on his inner thigh, for example, came from his first attempts at using gunpowder. The ones on his back and upper arms are from mortals foolishly believing if they defeated him he would make them a weapon or gods upset they lost a fight and blaming him.

Clauneck’s only scar is on his upper shoulder, close to his neck. A village leader didn’t like the future he had drawn and took it out on Clauneck. The village leader mysteriously went missing. Don’t ask Chemach about it.

I have so much little lore bits for these guys that I’ll just toss a few here for each.

Chemach-

*dumped all her extra stat points into her charisma and is really good at reading people.

*Lesbian who had a some long term girlfriends who followed her around as she traveled, though they were few and far between. Mortal lives are short and getting attached only to lose someone still stings even if it’s happened before.

*Bossy “Big” Sister. (she claims she’s the oldest because she got the egg shell off first when they hatched.) loosing her marbles did not change that part of her personality. She has the heretic gods that visit her (mostly the lamb now) deliver food or soap to her brothers when she gets word that they haven’t been eating well or are lacking on their hygiene.

*she was Friends with Benefits and besties with Yngya until the desire to go agianst her nature caused an argument between them. Yngya heard about what happened, but hasn’t seen her in her new godly state.

*she makes the best bread.

Clauneck-

*he was once very witty and observant to the world around him, but then he started being in the past, present, and future at the same time more often than not, which is very tiring and makes it difficult to be witty and fun to be around for most poeple. He started really leaning into it just before Chemach went insane. He knew it was coming and being in the present made him worried and stressed. He pulled himself out of it more often for the centuries he and Shamura were a thing, though.

*he likes strong sour or bitter flavors. The sharp taste help keep him in the present and able to enjoy what’s going on.

*he has lost or had stolen every card in his deck multiple times over. But they will make it back to him in time, so he doesn’t worry about.

*his bread is always burnt when he tries to cook.

Kudaai-

*he takes a full bath twice a year. Which is up from never a year when he was kid, and Chemach had to drag him to a river when he started to stink too badly. When he got bigger than her, she recruited Clauneck to help throw buckets of soapy water on him.

*his back is scarred up so badly he can’t feel much anymore. He’s carried on with arrows and spears in his back for months before he noticed they were there and pulled them out.

*More people than he can count owe him life debts. He’s big and wide, so he scares off highwaymen and most predators just by looming into view. Consequently, he has the most first aid knowledge of the 3.

*when he makes bread, he worries it will burn and takes it out to early so the insides are doughy.

All three-

*Peas are all three’s favorite food. Kudaai’s next favorite is worms. Chemach’s is bread. Clauneck’s is rhubarb, even though it makes him really sick to eat more than a nibble.

*When puberty hit, they all shot up like weeds. It bothers Chemach she is the shortest and that, through his work as a smith, Kudaai has a more prominent chest than her.

*they were given their cloaks very young becuase the first ones had a hard time telling three nearly identical, black ducklings apart.

Would the disciples passing around a ghost joint have made the Woolhaven situation better or worse, I wonder...

Anyway, there was a discord interview with Jojo and Jimp a little while ago, and at some point I vaguely recall one of them mentioning they jokingly headcanon Sariel is blazed out of his mind the whole time.

🍒 Cherry Stem 🍒

And before you ask...

Kallamar, Narinder, and Yngya can do it.

Shamura, The Lamb, and The Goat can't.

Leshy eats cherries whole. Yes, he has been told it's bad for him. No, he doesn't care.

"Detective Narinder and The Case of The Poison Turtle"

Fun fact! Mysteries are harder to write than I thought they were!

You can read the fic here!

**Preview**

Narinder should have been less excited than he was to hear "Leshy is going to die!", but a thousand years of wishing his little brother dead had left him with many habits he was still trying to break.

A small crowd gathered around the pillory. Narinder elbowed his way through the lookie-loos to the front only to find his brother thrashing like a wild beast against his restraints.

Leshy dug his feet into the earth, kicking back clods of dirt. His tail beat against the ground, leaving craters. It was almost funny watching Leshy trapped by a few simple planks of wood and hinges. When he was a god, Leshy could destroy massive trees with ease.

"I didn't do anything! Lemme out! Lemme out! Lemme out!" He screamed, his branches scraping against the wood of the pillory as he tried to pull his head through.

In front of him, The Lamb loomed. Their eyes burned with fury. Their sharpen teeth gnashed together. The Lamb's usually tiny horns grew like sharpened spikes.

A lesser follower would have been scared, but not Narinder.

Nor Leshy, for that matter, since he couldn't see The Lamb's threatening display.

"Shut up and tell the truth! What did you give him?" The Lamb spat as they grabbed Leshy's chin and jerked his head up.

"I told you I didn't do anything!" Leshy snapped, the brows above his bandage furrowing down in anger.

Before The Lamb could respond, Narinder left the crowd. He tapped The Lamb on the shoulder. He kept his muscles tensed and ready, just in case he needed to leap away from the irate godling.

"What is going on?" He asked in an aloof tone.

The Lamb spun around. They jabbed a finger at Leshy. "Your brother poisoned my husband!"

Narinder's ears perked up. Husband? Oh, how Narinder prayed it was Bathin. If so, hopefully it was a particularly noxious poison that left him writhing in pain. Narinder could not stand that prick—

"Tusken is in the healing bay, sick as can be right now!"

Narinder frowned. Much of his sudden interest in whatever sin Leshy committed waned.

☔ Springs Rains ☔ - Year of Art Zine Submission-

My submission for The Year of Art Zine!

The spring theme I went for was "Spring Rain." jumping in puddles and getting muddy and dirty is spring time fun!

I've only ever submitted oneshots to zines before, so this is a step out of my comfort zone, but I'm glad I did it, since it turned out cute!

I think I was the first person to use "Witness Mammon" as a tag on A03

you can read it here!

Preview:

(Note, Agares uses it/its pronouns)

[Mammon's] lips quivered. "I…I do remember that name. Agares, the one sent to watch that patch of forest."

Agares nodded, smiling. How long had it been since someone referred to Darkwood as a 'patch of forest?' Leshy ruled the area for millennia, expanding the thick trees and roots until it touched the boarders of his siblings' domains. Nothing about Darkwood was a 'patch' anymore.

"Yes, that's me." It held out its claw. "I didn't know you were sent out. And to Ewefall of all places."

Mammon cringed. "I was told to go and record what happened inside the mount—"

"*It was my job to stand guard,*" A new voice came from Mammon's mouth. This was gruff and deep. Mammon winced, but the new voice went on, "*Stand outside Woolhaven and keep any heretics out, like just Captain Yorabba said to. That's why I was there.*"

The Lamb pursed their lips, eyes flicking from Mammon to Agares.

Another voice, this one sharper and higher pitch than Mammon or the first new voice, said, "**Well I was on that god forsaken mountain doing the duty of the glorious Bishops!**"

"*I think you mean glorious mountain and god forsaken Bishops,*" the calmer of the two not Mammon voices sniffed.

"**How dare you, weak little sheep! You take back such insults to the most powerful gods in these lands!**"

"*The most powerful god in these lands is Lady Yngya, you heretic*."

"**Was Yngya.**"

"*Why you—!*"

Mammon folded in on himself, his claws digging into his scalp. "Stooop," he moaned. "Don't argue…"

His pleads did no good as the two other voices kept yelling at each other through his mouth.

Agares tried to put a hand on Mammon's arm, but he flinched away and curled into a ball on the floor. It looked to The Lamb in confusion and worry.

"I don't fully know." The Lamb shook their head. "Agares, nothing inside that mountain is…good. It's all wrong." They crouched down. "Nothing rots away like it's supposed to. Bodies don't turn into earth. Everything just keeps living as a putrid, fleshy *things* that attack anything that is still alive. Since he is a Witness, he's too strong to have died when he came in contact with those disgusting things, so the bodies that touched him just…stuck."

Agares' body shook. It tried to swallow, but its mouth was too dry all of a sudden. That didn't make any sense. Not in the form it had now, but Agares *had* been alive along time. It had seen horrors and betrayals and heartbreak and death, but it had never seen anything like this.

Over the next few days, Agares kept Mammon by its side. Mammon slept next to Agares, ate the food Agares gave him, and had an arm wrapped around Agares' own most of the time.

In those days, Agares came to know more about the two other voices. One, the louder, more abrasive one, was a follower of the Bishops, while the other was a follower of Yngya, the last bearer of The Cyan Crown. The two hated each other, for obvious reasons, and would bicker on and off through the day.

Poor Mammon curled up against Agares with a sore jaw every night.

🌕 The Moon And Her Little Stars 🌕 (+canon accurate alternate version)

Happy Mothers Day!

I knit my mom some mittens for the occasion. :)

u/UAs-Art — 2 months ago

If all the crown bearers who traded with them got to give them a name to seal the contract to trade, what name did the other gods give them, do you think?

Usually I'd have my own headcanons to offer, but I honestly don't have any for this one. Other than maybe Leshy giving them a joke name that The Mystic Seller took seriously.

Sorry, no refunds for mass murders on the consequences of your sins. ┐(シ)┌

u/abyssalshrimp /saltedclover on tumblr's post reminded me I needed to finish this. It's actually the very last comic from that poll on tumblr I did last year.

Leshy's clearest visual memories are of Narinder just before he tore his eyes out and The Lamb as they killed him the first time. the trauma of the events keeps them clearer than other memories.

The memories he has of the 1,000 years after the schism are fuzzy at the edges and green-tinged by default from seeing through his crown, add in that mortals are notoriously bad at remembering things and he's kind of screwed about keeping his memories from farther back untainted by time.

But Kallamar is in the same boat.

Also in the bonus...

If he can't see how they look now, he can feel how they look now!
