hi, I did the TCB Charles Stanley offer (deposit £500 into their s&s Isa, receive £150 cashback) over 9 months ago. after 4 months it was declined for no good reason. 5 months later, after opening a claim with TCB, it's still pending. I've contacted TCB, and Charles Stanley directly to make a complaint, they confirmed (Charles Stanley) that it should have been paid and was an error on their part (or the company that they deal with). tcb also contacted their Charles Stanley "contact".

tcb's reply was:

"I have heard back from our contact at the retailers tracking agency and they have said:

"If the TQ has been approved, then it would be a case of waiting for the invoice to be paid that relates to that to this TQ, which I’m afraid I can’t look up. Needless to say though that it will be paid in due course.

Many thanks"

Please be assured, as soon as we have received these funds, this will be reflected in your account.

why these companies take so long to do anything is beyond me, but I'm wanting to withdraw the deposit I made to Charles Stanley now, and wondering if anyone knows if this withdrawal will again cause them to decline the cashback, or has the decision already been made to pay it out based on the above information?

signup, deposit £200, no need to invest, and get £100 in stocks.. (I chose spcx) 🫢

I did the offer last December I think, the one for just £50, and all went fine. got the popup to choose what stock, and can see the buy order pending..

only works if you have not had an account for 30 days.

anyone that is doing that almost too good to be true sidekick offer, it looks like they have changed the terms?. instead of being able to deposit, and withdraw most of your deposit but keep the bonus, looks like now they claw back any bonus earned when you withdraw 🙄🙄🙄 (unless I'm misunderstanding things, which is very common ha ha)

clawback terms:

Clawback is assessed per product and per transaction. The clawback condition applies for 12 months from the date of each qualifying deposit. Once the 12-month period has expired, no clawback applies and you retain your bonus in full. Once a portion of the bonus has been clawed back it cannot be re-earned, regardless of any subsequent deposits made into the qualifying investment product.

Full Withdrawal

If you make a full withdrawal before the 12-month period expires, all bonus payments

relating to that product will be clawed back in full.

Partial Withdrawal

If you make a partial withdrawal before the 12-month period expires, clawback is applied proportionately to the share of your deposit that you withdraw. The clawback amount is calculated as follows:

Clawback amount = Bonus received × (Amount withdrawn ÷ Amount deposited)

The remaining bonus stays invested. Where two or more withdrawal instructions are made within the 12-month period, they are treated in aggregate for the purposes of calculating the clawback proportion.

Example:

You deposit £25,000 into a qualifying investment product and receive a £500 bonus. Your 12-month period begins on this date.

On month 4, you withdraw £12,500. This is 50% of your deposit, so 50% of your bonus (£250) is clawed back.

On month 8, you withdraw a further £6,250. Cumulative withdrawals are now £18,750 (75% of your deposit). A further 25% of your bonus (£125) is clawed back.

Total bonus clawed back: £375. Remaining bonus of £125 stays invested.

Had you waited until after month 12 to make any withdrawals, no clawback would have applied and you would have kept the full £500 bonus.

If you do not withdraw any amount within the 12-month period, no clawback applies.

Consecutive Withdrawals

Where two or more withdrawal instructions are made, they are treated in aggregate for the purposes of calculating the clawback threshold.

hi, just received £200 for the TCB Scottish friendly offer instead of the advertised £170! (nice) (yes, should have done the £100 a month version 🙄).. there is a fee of £50 if I remember correctly, but you can avoid the fee if you leave £50 in there for 5 years if I'm also remembering correctly.. just wondering if anyone knows of any loopholes to get round this? If not, no probs really, but would be nice if there is, such as transferring out etc?

I've been using GG poker for a few years now, it's an American app, and they give you a free game each day.
