My daughter is freshman at Pitt. Dropped her off and she is struggling especially at night. She and roommate are literally just walking around campus. Doesn't want to go to Frat (apparently one just got busted) but they feel like there is nothing to do. Girls on their floor went to frat party. Why did Pitt bring them in for a whole week if there isn't anything to do? Looked at welcome week and it was supposed to be Residence life events but they don't seem to know what to do. you have hundreds of kids - shouldn't there be a ton of things planned especially at night?? Am i missing something? Is she? Any guidance would be great. You can only knock on doors on your floor so many times... help? Thank you!
