Halligan bar - needs a buff

I don’t see the point in this thing. Especially for $1100. It doesn’t work against gates which is usually the front door to every FOB. I don’t know why I would take this over C4 which is about the same price, can destroy pretty much anything and make a ton of money doing it.

NVIDIA filters

My friend took this screenshot showing us streaming DayZ in discord, me (an AMD user) and my friend using NVIDIA filters. How is it they’ve not banned this yet.

Just came back to find my favorite map removed :(

Haven’t played in like a year or so but started getting hyped with some buddies to come back and play, only to see the Chernarus map doesn’t exist anymore… tried some other maps and it just doesn’t feel the same. I don’t understand why Bohemia made such a fuss about a guy modding a map from a game they own, into another game they own

Class Pack price point

$25 for a class pack seems excessive to me. I was interested in getting these for some players at my table but the math just isn’t adding up to me. Amazon is selling the core book with all the cards for $45 right now. If you wanted all 9 class packs that would be $225. For that same price point you could buy 5 core books.

So for $225 I get either

1 set of all classes

Or

5 sets of all classes + books

Granted you get all the ancestries/communities with each one but you would never need that many. Even as a player it feels hard to justify ever buying those. If you ever want to try a second class you’re just better off buying one core book.

First GM Mini-Campaign (Age of Umbra)

Hello! My group and I are going to be playing Daggerheart for the very first time and I will be GMing it for my first time. We started D&D a little over a year ago and our current DM needs a break for some time so I will be running this for roughly 4-5 sessions. I personally have fell in love with the Age of Umbra setting and had an idea I thought would be really cool to run for this time.

Essentially groups of survivors within the enduring settlements use trade with one another to help each other survive. Trading food, knowledge, or other essentials a settlement might have excess of in exchange for what they lack. Traders need to be quick and nimble to survive. Large groups or wagons of supplies would be extremely dangerous and impractical. In the dangerous lands between the settlements, this is only made possible through an extremely rare relic of the past, a bag of holding. However, in the latest run, the trader never returned. Whether through misfortune on the road or a fallen settlement, it’s up to our PC’s to discover what happened to the trader, and more importantly recover the bag of holding so that essential trade can continue.

That’s my rough idea to start that I think I could have an interesting narrative for and finish up within the short time frame. I would love to hear any critiques or ideas to add to this since it’s my first time being a GM. Trying to figure out various ways the players could find and locate this bag seems like my next hurdle, as it’s like finding a needle in a haystack. I was also wondering to anyone familiar with Age of Umbra, would it seem possible for groups to survive for extended periods of time in the wilds without a sacred pyre? Perhaps they’ve gone mad or slightly malformed by the umbra, but nevertheless they are out there and still have some semblance of organization/intelligence? Thanks again!
