Facebook marketplace considering selling food

Hey everyone! I wanted honest opinions from people in Atlanta that enjoy homemade/international food.
I’m Brazilian and have been thinking about starting a small homemade food business through Facebook Marketplace/Instagram, mostly focused on authentic Brazilian comfort food and desserts. Not restaurant style, more homemade/family recipes from Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro.
Some ideas I had were:
pão de queijo

pastel de feira

empadão de frango

escondidinho

feijão tropeiro

moqueca

strogonoff

Brazilian juices

pudim

palha italiana

geladinho gourmet

Would people in Atlanta actually buy this type of food regularly?
I also wondered:
Do people here use Facebook Marketplace for homemade food?

Would meal prep/marmitas sell better?

Do you think Brazilians are the main audience or would non-Brazilians also be interested?

What prices feel reasonable for homemade plates?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share an update on my green card process and how my interview went, since this journey has been such an important part of my life.

I had my green card interview this past Friday April 24th. Going into it, I felt prepared because we had already submitted a very complete application back in December, including our full lease, joint bank account statements (checking and savings), utility bills with both of our names, joint tax return, travel history together, and other supporting documents.

During the interview, however, the officer focused heavily on documentation. She asked questions about whether I work, my school, my husbands job, and also about why his driver’s license is still from Florida while we are currently in Georgia. She also asked about my stepfather being listed on the lease and wanted clarification about our living situation.

The main issue during the interview was that we did not bring updated versions of all our documents. For example, we only brought one page of the lease instead of the full document, and we did not have recent checking account statements from January until now. Although we had already submitted everything in December, the officer expected us to bring a full, updated package again for the interview. She seemed frustrated that we didn’t have everything printed and current.

At the end of the interview, I received a notice saying that my case is being held for review. It also stated that no additional documents are required at this time, but that USCIS may request more evidence or make a decision later.

Right now, my case status shows as “actively being reviewed.” Based on everything, it seems like they may either approve the case directly or send a Request for Evidence (RFE) asking for updated documents like recent bank statements, the full lease, and proof of employment.

Even though the interview felt stressful, I understand now that the situation is more about providing updated documentation rather than any major issue with our case. So for now, I am preparing all updated documents so I’m ready to respond quickly if they ask for anything.

I’m staying hopeful and trusting the process. I’ll keep you all updated as soon as I hear anything new.

Thank you for all the support throughout this journey!

I will also post on comments my timeline

I will also love to know if there was anybody in the same situation I am
