Honeymoon 2027 help!

Hi everyone! Looking for some advice for our Maldives honeymoon in March 2027 😊

We’ll be flying to the Maldives from Thailand, staying for around 5–6 nights, then flying back home to the UK.

Our budget is around £5-6k total for two including resort transfers. We’re looking for somewhere romantic and ideally adults only, with a really good house reef/snorkelling, good food and some activities/excursions such as dolphin watching.

We’d also love to experience both a beach villa and water villa, ideally 2 nights beach + 3 or 4 nights water, but if a split stay isn’t possible we’d probably choose a water villa for the whole stay.

At the moment we’re mainly considering Komandoo and Kagi. We’ve also looked at Sandies Bathala and Diamonds Thudufushi, but there are honestly so many resorts that we’re getting a bit overwhelmed 😂

Would you recommend Komandoo or Kagi for what we’re looking for, or is there somewhere else we should consider within our budget?

Also, has anyone booked through The Resorts Collection? They’ve given us some good quotes and have been really helpful, but I’d love to hear experiences from anyone who has actually booked and travelled with them.

Thanks so much!

Honeymoon advise 2027 help!

Hi! My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon for March 2027 and are thinking of doing Thailand followed by the Maldives before flying back to the UK.

For Thailand, we’re currently thinking Bangkok + Krabi, then around 5 nights in the Maldives. Does this sound like a good combination, or would you recommend somewhere different in Thailand?

At the moment our main options are Kagi and Komandoo, but we’re definitely open to other recommendations around the same budget.

Also, has anyone booked a Maldives resort through The Resorts Collection? They’ve given us some really good quotes and have been very helpful so far, but I’d love to hear from anyone who has actually booked and travelled with them.

Thanks! 😊

Willow inpatient certification

Im a pharmacist clinician builder and now currently taking the willow inpatient certification. So far I’ve completed RX100 (passed the self assessment), Rx205 (self assessment exam still to be completed) and due to attend the rx305 and rx405 training in the next coming weeks.

Few qs:

-rx205: any tips on how to grasp all the data structure and user config concepts? I find it quite confusing🙈 how’s the self assessment exam like? I heard that it is quite tricky

- any tips for rx305 and 405 project and exam? (I imagine the exam for this is much harder than 205 so very much dreading it!)

Thank you!

BBF (bridesbestfriend) - advice, are they good or not?

Hello! We’re currently in the process of switching planners and recently came across BBF (Ms Leah).Unfortunately, our experience with our previous planner has been quite stressful, so we’re a little worried about ending up in a similar situation again.

Are there any overseas couples here who have worked with her? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience and whether you’d recommend her. We’re trying to decide if it’s worth making the switch. Thank you!

HELLLP! Has anyone switched from Tisha Cue / Bliss Unlimited to another planner? Deposit refund experience?

I’ve noticed a few couples have switched from Tisha to another planner, and unfortunately we’re now considering the same.

After several weeks of very little communication/radio silence, repeatedly being told she’ll get back to us and then hearing nothing, and most recently missing a time-sensitive vendor deadline, we’ve reached our limit.

We’ve put a lot of effort in on our side too — after our call, I rushed to put together a Google Drive with invitation mock-ups, cake inspo, etc. that she specifically asked for so she could review and discuss with suppliers, only to hear nothing back. We’ve even stayed up until 1–2am because of the time difference to send things at reasonable Philippine hours, just to be met with silence.

To be fair, we have booked some major suppliers through her (and some outside her recommendations), although even some bookings required multiple follow-ups. The constant chasing and uncertainty has caused us so much stress and really taken away the excitement of wedding planning.

For those who switched, did you receive a full or partial refund of your deposit? It doesn’t sit right with us that the full deposit could be kept given the level of service we’ve experienced — especially if multiple couples are going through something similar.

For other affected couples, would it be worth putting together a joint complaint to Shangri-La? Given that she’s one of their recommended suppliers, perhaps it’s worth raising these experiences collectively rather than individually.

Feel free to DM me if you’d rather not share publicly. 🙏🏼

Foa vs Hans vs Floral Touch vs Always in Bloom? please help! 🥹

Hi everyone!

We’re getting married at Shang Ocean Pavilion and are currently deciding between FOA, Hans, Floral Touch, and Always in Bloom.

Our style is minimalist, timeless - pixie lights, warm lighting, and elegant white/green florals, but nothing overly grand.

We’re currently leaning towards Always in Bloom because their quote is significantly lower than the others (almost half) We’re wondering:

* Why are they so much cheaper?

* Is there a noticeable difference in quality, styling, flowers, or execution?

* Has anyone worked with them and can share their experience?

* Are they on par with the more established stylists in Cebu?

We’d love to hear honest feedback, especially from anyone who has worked with any of these suppliers or had a wedding at Shangri-La/Ocean Pavilion.

Pls help a very overwhelmed bride and groom decide 😭🙏

Thank you so much! 🤍✨
