Is this worth the investment?

Im curious what you all think of this lens?

I think this lens fits my workflow really well but the price is kinda high, I’m also worried that soon something else might come out from another manufacturer that might be similar and cheaper. I also don’t care about the AF I’m just looking for a fast cine zoom with this focal range and I don’t think there is any for FF. I thought about picking up the photo version which is significantly cheaper but since I’m using it for video, the hard stops and focus gears really makes a big difference.
