PDCentral (.com) had the best message boards back in the day. And The PD Savage was a famous member that had the best custom multiplayer scenarios. The Wayback Machine had them. Here are some of them.

I’ve been meaning to go back and find this stuff and I finally did. I randomly picked a snapshot date from 2004 and the first page of the “Custom Multiplayer Scenarios” section had a huge list of his scenarios compiled by someone else after he got banned (by mistake I believe)

Anyway. He was an absolute legend. Let me know if this link doesn’t work. I’ll just copy and paste the individual setups if it doesn’t.

Discord is a great solution to context bloat from text message threads, but there’s an issue…

I’ve created a Discord server for a dedicated non default agent/profile as a bot in that server. It works great. I make a new thread in the text channel, clean session is created, no bloat from a never ending thread like in other messaging apps people use. It updates and manages my obsidian vault for a specific project that server and Agent are dedicated to. And then that vault is synced to my phones obsidian app through Dropbox. It’s great. I love it.

Problem is, there doesn’t seem to be a way to make another separate gateway for a separate agent/Discord bot/Discord server. The different agents/profiles can’t be assigned to new gateways. The messages menu for Discord allows for one bot token. I thought that my new agent was just cloned from the default and if I simply put a new bot token in it would create a separate gateway. This is what AI claimed would happen (I couldn’t find anyone who had tried this so I had no choice but to give its suggestion a try)
It simply deactivated my old bot and replaced it with the new bot.

My goal is to have a discord server with multiple bots tied to multiple agents for each project and it’s Obsidian vault. Or if need be have multiple Discord servers with one agent/bot each. It just doesn’t seem to be working though.

Has anyone pulled something like this off using the new GUI? It might be more feasible using the original CLI version but that’s beyond my scope. I’ve never been a CLI guy. I know, I’m a simpleton. Any insight would be great though. Thank you.
