We have a now unused cable that runs through a 1 inch hole from exterior to interior of house. I want to remove the cable and fill/patch the holes. But not sure how best to do this? For interior, it’s drywall and we already have plans to paint the wall the hole comes through. For exterior, it’s vinyl siding and we don’t really care how it looks, just want to keep bugs and moisture out. Any guidance on how to proceed would be much appreciated! Thank you.
