Update on my Break maxing journey (782,108):

It's only been a day since I last posted, but I made big improvements today so I wanted to share. Finally went to Rabbit Hole and got super lucky with just a few runs. My Daff yesterday had a Purple cartridge (break main but no sub) with 4 purple modules as well. Now she has a Gold cartridge (break main & break sub), as well as all Gold modules (so, maximum Console break intensity). I also ascended Adler's Arc to 60/70 for the slight increase to the break stat.

From all the upgrades, Daffodil got over 100 extra Break Intensity, which ended up translating to over a 16% increase in the final Break damage! Since she's contributing 3 instances of over 125k plus another 125k as part of the team Break, she's now personally contributing over 500k damage. Pretty sick!

(Arcane) Li Zhiyan - WILL form Arts Unit option:

Just reminding people that this Arts Unit exists in the event that her Sig / BP weapon end up being more geared around her INT form. I've seen Gilberta's BP option mentioned as an alternative, but this thing seems to have been overlooked and it shouldn't be, because...

Both her Sig and BP weapon have Ult Gain Efficiency as their Secondary stat. That's a clear indicator that running a weapon without Ult Gain Efficiency is going to make you have to take a loss somewhere in your Gear.

This thing also has no dead stats for Arcane in her supportive role:

  • Will - Necessary for activating the support form.
  • Ult Gain - Clearly important to her gameplay cycle based on her sig/BP weapons.
  • Main Attribute - Decent amount of INT as well to help keep her Attack high.
  • Arts Intensity - Combo and Ult will both result in Arts Bursts, which scale with Arts Intensity. If you're additionally using her to proc Corrosion in non-Nature teams, Arts Intensity will increase your entire team's damage as well as the initial instance of damage that occurs when triggering Corrosion.

That said, I'm not claiming that this will be her best weapon, just that it is very well suited towards her support form. There's also the possibility that her Sig/BP weapon make gearing for her WILL form difficult due to the INT primary stat on both of them. For example, there's a slim chance you can get away with a LYNX Slab on this weapon while still keeping your Will slightly higher than INT (and getting a pretty decent Attack value as a result), but it would be nearly impossible to do so on an INT weapon.

---

Side note: In the event that her new Gear set is also catered primarily towards her INT form, Hot Work already has perfect pieces for her WILL form in teams where you are triggering Corrosion:

  • Option #1 (default):
    • Hot Work Power Cartridge x2 (WILL > INT, Arts Intensity)
    • Hot Work Gauntlets T1 (WILL > INT, Nature DMG)
    • Eternal Xiranite Armor (WILL > INT, Arts Intensity)
  • Option #2 (sus):
    • Hot Work Power Cartridge (WILL > INT, Arts Intensity)
    • LYNX Slab (WILL > INT, Main Attribute Bonus)
    • Hot Work Gauntlets T1 (WILL > INT, Nature DMG)
    • Hot Work Exo-Rig (INT > WILL, Nature DMG)

Option #1 is stacked on Arts Intensity for big Arts Bursts and Corrosions. However, it's worth noting that the 50% Nature DMG won't apply to her Arts Bursts, because the Arts Bursts in teams where she will be triggering Corrosion will not be Nature. But it will still apply to the initial Corrosion hit and provide significant team buffing.

Option #2 is sus because most characters currently in the game have roughly a 170:120 ratio for their base attributes (primary:secondary). If this rings true for Arcane, Option #2 will net her higher INT than WILL, disallowing her support form. BUT seeing as she's our first dual stance character, in the off-chance that they make her ratio something like 150:150 instead, then on Option #2 alongside Monaihe as her weapon, she'll end up with 511 INT and 513 WILL (this would land her around 3,400 ATK, which is pretty darn good considering we're prioritizing secondary attribute on a 5* weapon) Probably unlikely, but worth keeping in mind just in case.

Just finished moon exploration.

I cried when>!I heard the Traveler's response to the deep space message.!<

I'm an old man and I've been playing since 1.0. One of my favorite movies as an adolescent was Contact (with Jody Foster, 1997). To finally learn>!why the Traveler came to Teyvat!<and for it to have been such a beautiful reason.

Peak Genshin.

Thanks to your tips, I did this 16s faster!

Background: I just got Last Rite yesterday and finally found a home for my Tangtang and Xaihi! After leveling her and getting a feel for her gameplay, I posted this video and asked for some suggestions.

Surprisingly, benching my full Arts Intensity A3 Stanza Perlica for Snowshine improved the clear time! This is mainly because she allowed me to finish my 1st phase setup quicker and then push the 2nd phase Stagger quicker as well. I imagine Perlica will still be better in some fights though, as I'd be in a weird spot if Rhodagn had a bit more max HP here.

Last Rite is Lvl 90, Talents 9/9/9/9 in both videos. No food buffs. The only thing that changed was I swapped her weapon to Sundered Prince, but stat-wise it's actually a bit behind my fully etched Seeker of Dark Lung (both shown in video). Just helped with the Stagger pushing in this case.

Anyway, thank you to everyone who helped out yesterday!

So, all my Operators are at 200 Friendship...

And now I can no longer give gifts at all. It's a bit of a bummer because I relied on gifting as part of my routine for completing dailies.

For those of you that have made the same mistake... what activity did you replace gifting with for completing your dailies?

Baiffodil Gameplay is the most fun I've had with NTE's combat.

Just a low-investment showcase focused on actual gameplay. Don't expect crazy output or anything. Builds are at the end.

Who else is waiting for Iroi?

Juicy perfect recharge rotation :D

ULT GAIN EFFICIENCY:

  • Rossi - 107%
  • Wulfgard (has P4) - 178.5%
  • Gilberta - 244.9%
  • Akekuri (has P4) - 236.5%

...my Rossi's doing quite a bit less damage tho because no buffing weapons or gear on Gilberta/Akekuri :P. But it feels damn good to play!

Snowshine & Wulfgard 69 [seconds VS Rhodagn]

Arknights Endfield: "To thank our players, we are giving out a free Ardelia and Snowshine as launch rewards. Players will also be able to unlock operators Perlica and Wulfgard as they progress through the Valley IV main story."

Me: So that means they make a good team, right?

---

I promise this is the last time I'll post these two fighting Rhodagn. Could still push it further by leveling talents past nine, but I'm satisfied with the 69s clear xD.

I love Endfield's combat so much.❤️ Who else can't wait for Contingency Contract?

Random fact: This guy has the highest basic attack MV/s for no reason.

I just recently obtained him, and started doing some testing and research since I enjoy doing personal TC in gacha for the fun of experimentation. That said, don't take this as meta evaluation as it does not take into consideration the nuance of actual combat; it's just something random I figured I'd share.

As a whole, his kit is designed to set up Ultimate windows in which he's able to put out a lot of Burst damage, but...

In his basic attacks, he has access to a "scattershot" charged attack that does one initial instance of damage followed by three extra hits after a short delay. This scattershot comes in two different forms depending on whether you use it after his 1st/2nd basic attack or his 3rd/4th basic attack, but they deal the same damage regardless of form.

How to utilize his ridiculous MV/s:

  • If you hold down his basic attack button, he will do his 1st basic attack and then a scattershot.
  • If you then release the basic attack button and immediately hold it down again, he will skip to his 3rd basic attack followed by another scattershot.
  • You can dash-cancel the scattershot and it will still go off. Dash-cancelling this way will reset his basic attack string.
  • You do not want to dash-cancel the first scattershot because his 3rd basic attack has higher MV/s than his 1st.
  • His 4th and 5th basic attacks are not worth using. So you want to do 1st basic > Scattershot > 3rd basic > Scattershot (dash-cancel) > repeat
  • The inputs for this are: HOLD BASIC > RELEASE > HOLD BASIC > DASH

Each cycle has a whopping 860% MV at talent level 10 and only takes about 3s.

He can do this on repeat indefinitely. There are no resources or cooldowns involved.

Why? Idk. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

---

EDIT: Made a long-form rambly video about him. Example of the basic attack combo at 3:55.

Me insisting on saving power by only using 10 Ziplines to reach all delivery points even though I have enough extra power to fuel a small country:

Boundary security is tight in this map, but I still found a sneaky delivery Zipline placement :)

Just got Gilberta to support Tangtang as main DPS; Is this generally the right routing?

All advice is welcome and appreciated, thank you! <3

Dimensional Rift 30 is gnarly.

I think this is as far as a f2p can get at this point in the game. I can't imagine bridging the gap to finish off the boss. I'd need another 2 minutes. x_x

I'm pretty sweaty with these games, but stage 20 genuinely feels impossible. Maybe not with some insane gear and monsterlings, but the game hasn't been around long enough for an account to have that level of investment. I think stage 20 is where you genuinely just need to have an on-element team.

What do you guys think? Has anybody been able to get past this without a Wind team?

(+lvl 20 Francis waiting to be replaced by Mina lol)

Phew, only had like 10s to spare. Now I need to do Amon, Avardan, and Duoxini.

I expect true endgame will be more difficult ofc, but I'm personally happy that at least the endgame farm is clearable without having to build a new team for each boss. And you only have to do it once per boss! Woot!
