What can I see from Tankerton, Kent?

I was on the Kent Coast and I could see land to the east of Sheppey. It looks like I could see some large white buildings between Southend and Shoeburyness. What are these?

WFAT at Chathill, Northumberland

The most northerly station on the Northern Rail network. Nearly in Scotland, this station gets one incoming train in the morning from Newcastle, which then heads back south. And then the same in the early evening.

The rest of the day, trains hurtle through at over 100mph as this is on the East Coast Main Line between London and Edinburgh.

WFAT at Heworth, Gateshead

Only a hourly train between Newcastle and Sunderland. Not very busy as the metro from
the adjoining station, is quicker and probably cheaper.
