Ranch truck gun

I’m looking at the Ruger Ranch Gen ll 6mm arc with an LPVO optic to have in the farm truck for coyotes and deer hunting. The furthest I would probably ever shoot is 200 yards for a coyote and maybe 400 yards for a deer. Does anyone have any experience or good advice about going this route?

My first long range rifle. Bergara B14 HMR. Been waiting to find a deal on a scope, finally found the Vortex Viper PST Gen II for $630. All done with gift cards through work. Ready to hit the range and get it zeroed then off to start plinking at some distance.
