I think Clark is going to somehow lose his powers in the next episode
So we know that next week’s episode is called “The Death of Superman” and i’m wondering if they mean that in a more metaphorical sense. This season is an adaption of the Reign of Superman storyline where Superman is dead and a bunch of other imposters show up to take on the mantle and since this show really doesn’t seem like the type of show that would actually kill Superman off i’m wondering if temporarily de-powering Clark is how they’re going to do it. Before the season came out early reviews also said that part of Clark’s character this season was his insecurities over whether Clark Kent is as important as Superman but so far we haven’t really seen that yet and maybe Clark losing his powers could lead to him feeling like that. Finally there is also one of the season 3 toonami bumpers where Clark and Lois fall from a pretty short height and Lois seems a bit overly worried whether Clark is ok considering he gets thrown through walls on a daily basis, maybe it’s after he loses his powers?
