Do you think Kara will cameo in My Adventures with Green Lantern?

It would make sense since she inspired Jess, and it could be a chance to close out Supergirl’s arc and hopefully get soft confirmation on Kara x Jimmy if we really don’t get S4. Though hopefully we get S4 🤞

In a hypothetical 4th season what arc would you want our core 4 to go through?

Clark: I feel like his arc would be basically increasing his reach across the world and not just metropolis meaning he also meets new heroes like Wonder Woman and the flash
Lois: Completely mending things with her dad and getting her father’s blessing to be married to Clark as well as getting promoted to a full time reporter at the daily planet.
Jimmy: Cleaning up the mess he made last season with Kara as well as finally moving out of that apartment and potentially finding new friends outside of his current core 4 group. Aka finding himself outside of them. As well as maintaining his finances. Hopefully ending with him finding his way back to Kara.
Kara: similar to Superman helping out all around the world as well as potentially facing trial from the green lantern corp for her crimes on other planets. In doing this her transformation to a superhero comes full circle. As well as wanting to explore space. Hopefully with her finding her way back to Jimmy.

If we get a season 4 will Krypto get superpowers.

At the end of Season 3, we see that Lois adopted a dog for Clark and I was wondering will Krypto get superpowers. I think it could be possible for Krypto to gain powers in some sort of accident or experiment but I think it would be interesting if Krypto was able to help out the others even without powers.

Do you think Livewire and Heatwave will get an invite?

Ever since they helped Lois and Jimmy steal the spaceship so they could find Clark, and helped them save the world from Brainiac, it definitely seems like Leslie and Rory are now friends to the main characters, despite being side characters themselves now.

With that in mind, and Lois proposing to Clark, do you think they’d get an invite to the wedding? Maybe even becoming bridesmaids too?

Edit: Kara Zor-El is definitely going to be the Maid of Honor.

Here’s my Hank opinion I think might be a little unpopular.

I would’ve gotten rid of the Kryptonite core. Drop that element entirely. If you wanted to do Metallo then you should’ve done Metallo. The reason I would’ve changed it isn’t because he’s not Metallo though. There’s the ever present idea in pop culture that you need Kryptonite to create a real threat for Superman. The end of season one introduced Kryptonite into the world of maws proper fully. Brainiac weaponized Kryptonite during his invasion. Now we had yet another final ish battle with “oh no he has Kryptonite!”. It doesn’t help with the aforementioned idea. Also, of all characters Hank Henshaw simply doesn’t need it. He has all of Superman’s powers plus technopathy. Dude is busted himself. The show actually kept all that too!. The Kryptonite was unnecessary. If you wanted to get rid of his powers Luthor created the parasite tech. It’s right there.

Lets keep supporting maws in every way possible

Keep watching the show keep talking about it. Tell everyone you know about it, buy any merchandise, support it as much as you can so we get a s4

For anyone who's curious about the sharp drop in Jimmy's characterization this season, this interview with the showrunners lets us know that his downfall was planned Jimmy never stood a chance when 'Word of God' is against him

And no, this isn't about fumbling Kara. It's more so about his character's fall from grace in the larger fanspace.

How would y’all feel if they dropped the Jimmy and Kara plot for Jimmy and Banshee, like in the comics?

I don’t hate the idea tbh

Seeing Jimmy go from a beloved character in seasons 1-2 to getting Mordecai comparisons and called a cuck in season 3

Seriously, please fix him in season 4.

People are taking that interview clip about "punishing Jimmy" too literal.

It was so clearly just the writers being playful and joking. They didn't ACTUALLY set out to ruin him. They wanted to give him more nuance instead of having him be somewhat "flawless" in previous seasons. They wanted to make him a deeper character. Whether it landed for you is up to your own interpretation. I think the biggest problem was he didn't really do much outside his romance with Kara. Meaning we didn't get to see much of the Jimmy from past seasons. The same Jimmy who gave up ALL his millions to save his friend, or the same Jimmy who literally went to space and back to find his romantic interest and best friend. We got glimpses of that like when he confronted Lex as Lex was trying to flee. But overall his arc this season was learning to be honest and be a better person to Kara. Which truthfully is fine. That's okay to have romance and fumbling someone be your arc. Which while he somewhat succeeded, his ending still falls a little flat mostly due to their not being a guarantee of a season 4. If there was a season 4 guaranteed I imagine lotta the fears about him would be qualmed as he'd likely "redeem" himself in it. Because while Kara had her own thing going most of the season (truthfully she felt more like the main character than Clark most of the time) it was demonstrated in nearly every interaction that she herself still deeply was interested in Jimmy. Effectively making their relationship somewhat the A plot at times. This means that by their final scene it somewhat felt like...both their plots are unresolved because the show CLEARLY clearly lays out that eventually they will hook up. And while truthfully, their ending is absolutely deserved for Jimmy, it was also I think took to literal as well. We see them actively on a date getting ice cream and at one point they even held hands. Meaning yes they are still interested, but Kara wants to take it slow so Jimmy can keep his word. This also means that while yes the roles are reversed with Jimmy chasing Kara instead of vice versa, they are effectively back where they were at the beginning of the season. I think that is moreso the issue with Jimmy's writing. It didn't really go anywhere. Or moreso it didn't go far enough to happily pay off his errors. You don't needa go full on like get them married but maybe just a small scene of one them resting their head on the other, or holding hands or something. Just my two cents. Hopefully in season 4 (which I think seems more likely than not) they are able to make this whole thing better and pay off this plotline. Cause if not I do agree this would be wasted time that coulda been used to develop other things. I still ship Kara and Jimmy, it just coulda been done better to service both characters.

In a time of uncertainty for a Superman S4, just a remember.

Don’t forget to watch Green Lantern as well, Superman might not be renewed YET, but we can still support these creators and the MAWS brand.

Season 3 has Ended, What Everyone's Thoughts on Hank Henshaw / Cyborg Superman in General?

A few years ago, I made a post on Hank after S2, asking everyone's thoughts on him. Now S3 has concluded and curious on what people thought on his time as Cyborg Superman.

I think I get it

So they clearly used a Zod like design for doomsday/eradicator in the last episode and I saw a lot of people mad about it because it takes away from both characters. While I would have loved a proper doomsday character I don’t think Zod really works in this version of the story unless they completely change the character and make Zod some sort of eco terrorist. and I’m sure the writers could make an amazing story with him but Zod being true to the character just doesn’t make sense so they took his more refined design spiced up doomsday by giving him more brain and smooshed them together to make the eradicator. I like it I’m not like blown away by the choice but I definitely don’t think it was a bad choice.

The Kara/Jimmy subplot feels like wasted potential

At the very beginning of the Jimmy and Kara romance subplot in S3, Jimmy's initial reasoning was that he feels like he isn't enough for Kara, that she only likes him because he's the first guy she met who was nice to her, and that the brainwashed soldier might need some more time learning who she is. That's a really great premise, and it would let the show explore the tension between doing the right thing and Jimmy's feelings for Kara (human heart in conflict with itself type shit).

So I was really frustrated that the show pivoted from that to Jimmy turning into various animals for like 4 episodes instead of actually focusing on these characters. We've learned nothing about why Jimmy is like that (something we've already seen in S1 and S2), we haven't really had any meaningful exploration of Kara's identity except for a few small bits and a pretty random resolution in episode 7, and it doesn't feel like there's any connection to the main plot or to any of the themes presented in this season or the series as a whole. It's a really wasted opportunity.
