Ayup, nice people of hsr.

I am abit of an odd case. Played the game for a while, but I have never actually played the game for real. 0 endgame. havent even finished story.

I am basically a free character andy who's first pull was m.blade. It just so happened to be a dupe lol.

I mainly just play CW. Rest of the time I derp about with exploration and story when I cba.

I have 2 companion spirits remaining. I don't mind spending money on BP for lightcones.

I would like to dip my toes into the actual game,.
The reason I havent pulled any lightcones is because the system sounds crazy with double loss. Though I have actually no clue how it works.

My thoughts on teams:

Sustainless comps are a no go. I don't care if about 0 cycles or mega meta, just wanna be able to clear endgame. Unless endgame requires 0 cycling? I keep reading about it, but never actually looked into it in practice.

I love the herta, but dislike anaxia (eyepatches are blech).

Ashveil is a no go. His voicelines does my head in. Maybe its CW ptsd.

I like m.blade & archeron's whole debuff mechanic, but not sure I like archeron herself. The overly assymetric design isnt really my jam.

As for elation comps only really sparxie fits the bill for me there. At first I found her incredibly moronic, but somehow she is so far out that she came back around for me over time.

Dot is probably my favourite archetype in any game, and would like to make a team with that. But I missed the free kafka so I didn't get a headstart on that.

Archer is a bust, really don't enjoy him. A Rin mdps team would be much cooler in my book.
I like saber as a character in the anime, but I don't really fancy playing her with gil. Though with my m.blade and a free gil that would be an avenue I might have to explore simply because its cheap!?

I have explored about 80% of amphorous and still have the entire 4,x story + exploration to do, alongside some swarm disaster chores (blerg) and other permanent content I'm slacking with.

How would you best build and pace your pulls to carve a path towards endgame?

I didn't play the game during last anniversary. So I saved and hoarded like a dragon in heat because everyone I talked to spoke of the mega anniversary banners with fondness--and said that I could very likely plan around that.

But now I'm sitting here with nothing really to pull, I am a hiyuki skipper so all I am pulling per my initial plan is denia s0r1 in the latter part of 3.3.

But since I already have gauranteed coinflip thats liek 40 pulls if im unlucky.

Getting Denia free's up my lynae/mornye team and I kinda want to just press like a madman on Iuno's banner.

The problem is that I can't tell if I'm being baited by fomo because I know this might be Iuno's final run. Not to mention how strong hiyuki is looking--it definetely feels like the game is powercreeping slightly faster than it did from 2.5 to 2.8 fx compared to 3.0 to 3.3.

I enjoyed playing Iuno every time I had the opportunity in events, Luuk too--he had a simmilar laid back flying playstyle, though not nearly as much.

I can tell with her age, and the fact she is a hybrid character I would send her to s3 if i did pull her--which is why I feel hesitant.

Another problem is that I don't have a spectro or glacio team on my account, but I do have aero. Which just kinda means that not only would I be pulling for a character that is weaker than the current 3.x cast--but I would also not be protecting myself against weird boss rotations in endstate/toa.

tl;dr somebody stop me :] or convince me that s0 iuno is fine for longevity--and not the next yinling.
