Lies About Oakland...

Oakland is a city yearning for football to return. Most in this sub & those who claim to be in the area claimed the Coliseum couldn't support the UFL in its current condition.

We're getting front and center proof that the Coliseum can be a functional sports structure & the UFL should aim to put a team (with silver and black colors) right in Oakland.

How Did ESPN Screw Up Audio For A Musical Performance?!

Every other broadcast network that's done a halftime show for Thanksgiving or the Superbowl knows the criticality of audio & video (how the performer sounds & how they look through cameras).

No dynamic camera angles. Camera operators who had zero clue where to be for a good visual from the ground. Mostly using the football field level cam (which is just an inoptimal angle for the stage size...

Then the audio...what are we working with, a couple of high schoolers at the controls? This was BAD. So bad, people may have changed the channel & never came back.

Could people AT the stadium even hear 50 himself?

Bummer.

How to Get in Touch With UFL [Marketing]

I'd like to assist in any way possible in outreach for the 2027 UFL season. Last year, contacting the general UFL site led me nowhere, with zero response.

I live in Baltimore, commute to DC, and go to college in between. There's no reason we can't get more butts in seats (except for the economic argument), but informing & exposure is one of the greatest steps we could take.

I'm literally not looking for a job. I just want to volunteer time and support for the next 8 1/2 months until the next season's kickoff.

Baltimore's World Trade Center (photographed in April 2026), was the tallest pentagonal building in the world for five years, until Houston's Chase Tower was completed in 1982.

The 123m structure was purposely set on the northern edge of Baltimore's Inner Harbor, meant to idealize it rising from the water & its southernmost corner jutting out like a ship's bow.

Beyond its observation deck, a decorative feature of the structure are its illuminated corners, rising from the ground level. For a brief period, mirrors would reflect light out, like a lighthouse.

At ground level, there once was a publicly accessible seating and passthrough plaza through an exposed southern side that is now inaccessible. On it's north side is a memorial honoring victims of 9/11, featuring steel from New York's World Trade Center.

Today, the Baltimore World Trade Center is the tallest regular-pentagonal building in the world, but isn't even the tallest building on it's street.
