I'm moving into a dorm this fall for the first time as a transfer student, and I'm trying to make a complete shopping list before move-in.

I already have the obvious things covered (bedding, towels, laundry hamper, toiletries, school supplies, etc.), but I'm curious about the items people don't realize they need until after they move in.

What are some dorm essentials that made your life easier? It could be anything—organization, cleaning supplies, kitchen items, technology, comfort, or just random things you were glad you brought.

I'd especially love to hear about items you use every day or things you wish someone had told you to pack.
