I love the in app location directions & how they actually tell you if the item can fit in your car before you get the order. They are finally starting to look at their drivers and make things a bit easier

There’s a new guy in our market I guess and he doesn’t know that the gigs prices change when you wait so unfortunately he takes all of the CVS orders when they are 6 dollars and the only way other drivers can get these orders is if we submit offers to low paying gigs like he’s doing , it’s very annoying. You obviously want to wait to get better pay but if you’re competing against people who take anything it forces you to take anything/everything quickly. Now I don’t even feel comfortable waiting for a gig to raise , I just feel like I’m going to miss out on the opportunity a new driver consistently accepting low paying orders immediately changes the incentives for everyone else. Orders that might have risen to $8, $10, or more get taken at $6, so other drivers feel pressure to accept sooner rather than wait.
Not only that, when I submit an offer I notice if I unsubmit the prices raise but it’s not everytime, the problem with this is it’s a gambling game. If you unsubmit your prob not gonna get the order anymore bc other people are also pending for the same offer, or it may only increase a few cents. if you don’t unsubmit you risk lost extra dollars you could’ve made , this system is so weird
