Just a quick introduction. I’m one of the new mods here. I’m a complete n00b to moderating here on Reddit but looking forward to learning. The mod team will be working towards making this sub a vibrant community.
I'm not sure I understand the proposed hike in property taxes. The school district says it will only cost $2.30/month but a $0.20/$100 hike on a $350k house is $700/yr or $58/month. Has anyone seen/heard an explanation for how the District arrived at the $2.30/month figure?
This sub has been pretty quiet for a while but, hopefully, we'll see more activity about our beloved small city soon.
