ALP MICRO Bit the bullet at $299 -- coming soon

after extensive review here and on youtube, I determined that the only way to learn about visual pinball would be to take the plunge(r) ha!

I plan to add the Idaho plunger to have a proper-looking table, but at the price of $299, including shipping and no tax, I could not find an alternative to my Switch and vertical flip grip.

I found one used Micro on eBay for $250, with a. plunger, plus shipping and tax. I also considered the Cleveland Software OnePIN mini...which of course I would then need to figure out the display and CPU and operating environment.

I think the Micro will incentivize me to build a full size cabinet and go for high end electronics, or it will tamper my enthusiasm and save me a ton of money!

So my question for those who bought ALP Micro's, was it one and done, or did you go down the rabbit hole this hobby requires? thank you.

Old newbie needs "Virtual Pinball for Dummies"

I watch these You Tube guys like Way of the Wrench with awe, but am way over my head.

Is there a place for beginners to learn the basics? The most I have done so far is to play (vertical) pinball with a Switch Flip, and I love it!
