IS THAT WHAT I THINK IT IS?

IS THAT WHAT I THINK IT IS?

GUYS. GUYS. GUYS. GUYS. I THINK I'M GONNA HAVE A HEART ATTACK.

I WAS DILLY-DALLYING ON MY ISLAND LIKE I USUALLY DO, CATCHING FISH, BUGS, ETC. AND THEN THIS BALLOON CAME FLOATING ABOVE ME, AND I INITIALLY SAW A YELLOW BALLOON, SO I AUTOMATICALLY WENT "OH, ITS A BELL PRESENT. SWEET. LEMME EQUIP MY SLINGSHOT AND GET THAT BAD BOY DOWN."

BUT THEN I LOOKED CLOSER, AND REALIZED THE COLOR WAS A LITTLE OFF FROM YELLOW. SO I WAS LIKE "....OMG? COULD IT BE????"

I SHOT THE BALLOON DOWN BEFORE TAKING A SCREENSHOT SO IT WOULDN'T FLY AWAY, BUT— ASDFKSJXKSKAKSLXKDKANZN I'M FREAKING OUT RN. PLEASE TELL ME I'M DREAMING.

22F, looking for txt/rp buddies!

Hi! Name's Dee. ^^

I've been using Discord for quite some time now (I think since 2017?) and, I will say, I've met a plethora of fun people on there after migrating from Geeking (RIP T∆T) and Amino (ick...)

I'm reallyyyy into roleplaying/storybuilding, and just writing in general. I use it as my escape. But I'm also willing to just engage in nice texting conversations as well! I've made, and lost, a couple of friends after falling out because of some differences, and I'm just really trying to put myself out there again to find new people to chat with (preferably in their 20s, I'm most comfortable with that age group).

So, some info about me before you decide to hop in my DMs is;

  1. I love writing (duh 🤪)

  2. When roleplaying, I write at the Advanced Lit to Novella level (4+ paragraphs, 3rd person, very descriptive)

  3. My genre interests are Fantasy, Slice of Life, Romance (Dark, or otherwise), and Post-Apocalyptic.

  4. I tend to reply fast, usually within the same 30min-1hr window. But if I take long, I'm probably just busy with chores/household tasks... Or I'm taking a nap lol

  5. Again, regular conversations are not off the table. I like engaging in small talk!

See ya, byeeee! 😚

FINALLY

I've got AMAZING NEWS.

After hustling (time traveling) so many times, I was able to catch a scorpion so I can torture give it to Blathers!

This isn't the last bug I had to catch before I complete the bug section of my Critterpedia, unfortunately. But, this does get all the creepy bugs out of the way! (Tarantula, Centipede, and now the Scorpion!)

When I saw this abomination on my island, I calmly 💩 myself before digging several holes to barricade myself from the intruder. Then, I took several deep breaths, and charged at the beast to trigger a chase.

The scorpion, engulfed in a bloodthirsty rage, jumped up and began chasing me, as I hauled complete a** across the cliff. The fool had successfully fallen into my trap, and then began to circle around like a madman.

I had him right where I wanted him.

I extracted my trustworthy net from my pockets, and clutched it in my sweaty palms. Then— *THWACK!!*

I missed.

*THWACK*

I missed again.

*THWACK*

This blasted net was bound to give out any second... And then—

I CAUGHT THE WRETCH.

THE BEAST WAS NO MORE.

I ran across the land as I rejoiced. "The scorpion has been caught! I've slain the foe!"

I turned in my trophy to Blathers, a common victim of my new findings. He shudders, both visibly repulsed and impressed at the new addition to the Paradiso Museum.

I have emerged victorious.

Okay, so I'm new to this community, however I am NOT new to birth control.

I've been on the pill since February of 2024 to regulate my irregular periods and horrible cramps. And it's been a dream.

Fast forward, I met my boyfriend while I was in college (October, 2024). And I've been on a hormonal birth control pill called "Hailey FE 1/20". The pill was awesome, I had no side effects, it didn't make me feel icky, it was a blessing to be on, overall.

Later down the line (I'm talking currently), my Care Team at Nurx told me they would have to switch me from Hailey FE, to a brand called Junel Fe. I was like "alright, cool, no problem." I did my research on it, found out that Hailey and Junel were basically the same thing, might cause the same side effects (headache, nausea, mood swings, yadda yadda). Which, I haven't experienced any side effects while on Hailey, so I figured I'd be cool.

They put me on Junel for 3 months (I get the 84 Day Pill Packs every 3 months), and things are normal. A couple of queasy days here, mood swings there. But nothing TOO horrendous. THEN, before my 3 month pill packs run out, Nurx messages me AGAIN yesterday saying that they have to switch my pill again because of a shortage of Hailey and Junel. Now, I'm gonna be put on a pill called "Feirza". Which, I looked it up, and had my boyfriend do the same, and we found out that Feirza is just a generic BC pill with the same ingredients as Hailey and Junel.

But my question is this, is it healthy to switch between 3 different brands of birth control pills within such a short time? What can I expect? And, will my chances of pregnancy increase if I don't stay on the same pill I was originally on?

Was trying my hardest to take advantage of the in-game rainy day so I could catch a Mahi-Mahi (as it was one of my tasks to receive Nook Miles+), and I caught a Coelacanth instead!!! 🫨
