A loader bumped into my dump truck while loading and bent the aluminom and now when i am low on air there is very little clearance anyone got any good recommendations on how to fix i feel like hammering it wont do much cause its so thick

My parents tell me to just buzz it off so it grows in stronger and keep me hair short but i have a buddy who is in med school that tells me to go to my dermatologist and he will prescribe something that can make it grow back or something is that true should i go to him or should i just buzz it off
