I'll be joining BITS Goa for PhD and reporting is around end of this month. I accepted the offer and paid the admission fee, but I still haven't received any update regarding hostel allotment.

I had mailed the admissions office a couple of days ago but haven't heard back yet.

I wanted to ask:

Have hostel allotments for new PhD students started?

Do most full-time PhD students usually get hostel accommodation, or is it difficult because of limited availability?

How does hostel allotment work and when will we be given the rooms?
