Pittsburg on a foggy morning: Nikon z8 and 14-24 f2.8
Settings: 1/25, F10, ISO 64 handheld over a railing
I was in Pitt for one night, and the morning was insane the city covered in fog. I set up with a tripod and took some shots as the sun came up the fog started to clear and everyone else went home, the incline started up and I leaned over the railing of the overlook waiting for the right time and snapped this shot of the tram going down. Shot handheld at 1/25 giving a little blur to the tram to show the movement of the morning and the city waking up.
Perspective: A great blue heron with it's catch
Bursting from the water looking like the tempest the osprey is
This was one of my first tests with auto capture in my backyard. I did a mix of the 105 macro and the 135 plena but overall I'm happy with the result and love this shot. Cool tool for using non standard wildlife lenses and getting a different perspective without stressing the animal.
It was pouring down rain as I got up in the morning to let the dog out, and the neighborhood fish crow was perched on one of our feeders soaking wet and looking majestic. I grabbed my camera quick and fired off a few frames, this was taken at 20k ISO. I knew this shot was destined for a good high contrast black and white.
