Thai Inheritance

So I'm a bro who's girl comes from a moderately well off Thai family. The father ran a successful business that was construction adjacent. They own 8 cars, a dozen trucks and earthwork machinery.

We are de facto in my country (Australia) so if we were to part ways she would be entitled to a split of any inheritance that comes my way...I'd like to know, and hear from anyone with lived experience, what's it like coming in the other direction?

I assume locally to Thailand I'd be shit out of luck but given we are married is Australia, would or can, our courts make decrees on her Thai assets?

Please be gentle in your responses 🙏🏻

I'm looking to ways I can protect the humble inheritance I'll be leaving to my 2 sons from any family law proceedings that may (but hopefully not) arise in the future.

One son in particular (always one am I right 🤦🏻‍♂️) that is more of a worry.

I'm wondering if anyone has any real world experience with these testamentary trusts, and if they would be willing to share their experiences. Even privately by DM.

Thanks for your consideration

I posted couple of days ago. I'm looking for this location so I can get a pic with me and a friend.

Any and all help deeply appreciated.
