Making a gaming table for my husband’s birthday looking for advice!

Hello! Disclaimer, I am not super familiar with magic the gathering outside of what I have learned from my husband.

Him and his friends have been playing for a while and have consistently commented on their gaming surface options. They play at different people’s houses so everyone has different options available.

For his birthday, I want to make a table that he can take with him to play!

The plan so far:
Using a 6 foot folding table as the base topped with 3/4 inch plywood that’s cut in the middle along the table seam.

For the play surface, I’ve got one of two thoughts. 1) felt followed by a slippery fabric for that bouncy texture and smooth play area or 2) neoprene.

I’m also planning on 3-D printing six dice trays and coasters, and am able to print any other accessories as recommended

I’m also getting a carrying bag to reduce risk of damage during transit.

Here are my concerns:
This method leaves a bit of a seam between the 2 halves with how the fabric will sit even if I make the plywood flush. Will this be super duper annoying if there are six people playing? They usually play with four but have more folks sitting at the table.

Is this enough? Is there anything else I should consider adding, like a lip around the table or anything else?

Are there any other accessories that would be beneficial to 3-D print along with the whole gift?

The reason I’m going with a folding table over a table topper is ease of transport, I can’t imagine he wants to lug around a 6 foot topper along with a table once a month.

I would love some feedback and suggestions from this community. Thank you in advance!
