Still a work in progress, but I like it so far

I finally got some furniture to get this put together. I purchased a light bulb from Govee that has a bunch of different light combos that I think really brings the room together! Still have a bunch of my kids drawings and could use more shelving. Lmk what you think, any advice, and I'll be sure to share updates. Thank you!

My new setup

A bit messy and two light bulbs need replacing but just moved into my new place and made the largest "bedroom" a second living room/ game setup. The second mounted TV was left by previous owner and I'm leaving it there cause I think it looks cool 😂. May mess around with adding some LEDs eventually.

My little space

Tv might be a bit big for the space but I'm happy with my little game room.

This used to be a proper lounge setup, now it’s basically turned into storage + spare parts overflow.

Still has the base though: sofa, wall-mounted TV, lighting, big desk, plus a stack of old consoles and monitors.

Plan is to fully reset it into a clean gaming/work space (2–3 monitor setup), while keeping all the storage functional (including the chaos).

Got a couple before pics, will post the transformation once it’s done. Maybe a full day sprint for 2 days starting from this weekend.

Throw me some cool ideas and suggestions fellas.

The ever-changing Game Room.

I took these a few months ago and already things look so different. I've added a bunch of new stuff and hung stuff on the walls. I need to get some updated pics soon.

If anyone is on FB or IG drop your account below I would love to follow some new accounts. I'm @cheekyys_gameroom on both.

Mein Gaming Room

Game/LEGO/Collectible Room

Latest update, this room has come a long way since I first started with it. And I still have so much room to grow.

Turned my gaming/movie room into the ultimate chill zone 🎮🍿

Finally added an oversized bean bag setup to the room and it completely changed the vibe.

Perfect for gaming, movies, late-night YouTube sessions, and honestly accidental naps too 😅

The cozy atmosphere hits different with soft lighting and a giant bean bag.

What would you add next to this setup? LED wall panels, mini fridge, projector, or something else?

What do you think of my setup and gaming room so far? [Any suggestions for improvement?]

Hello everyone,

I’m still right at the beginning stages regarding my setup and gaming room—specifically, how I envision it eventually turning out—as I have several things planned. For instance, I intend to install both indirect and direct lighting, and I also want to acquire a few more decorative elements that fit the themes of Japan, Samurai, Anime, and Gaming.

Furthermore, I’d like to get some larger artificial plants, as well as some lighting fixtures for the corners.

Additionally, I plan to tackle cable management and would like to mount my PC to the wall; this would give me more legroom under the desk and allow me to better showcase the PC itself [it will be replaced later with a much newer and better model, but it serves its purpose for now].

However, I would love to hear your opinions—what would you improve? How would you design it? Etc.—to gather some inspiration and tips for my setup and gaming room.

Thanks for reading, and I look forward to your responses!

Making a gaming table for my husband’s birthday looking for advice!

Hello! Disclaimer, I am not super familiar with magic the gathering outside of what I have learned from my husband.

Him and his friends have been playing for a while and have consistently commented on their gaming surface options. They play at different people’s houses so everyone has different options available.

For his birthday, I want to make a table that he can take with him to play!

The plan so far:
Using a 6 foot folding table as the base topped with 3/4 inch plywood that’s cut in the middle along the table seam.

For the play surface, I’ve got one of two thoughts. 1) felt followed by a slippery fabric for that bouncy texture and smooth play area or 2) neoprene.

I’m also planning on 3-D printing six dice trays and coasters, and am able to print any other accessories as recommended

I’m also getting a carrying bag to reduce risk of damage during transit.

Here are my concerns:
This method leaves a bit of a seam between the 2 halves with how the fabric will sit even if I make the plywood flush. Will this be super duper annoying if there are six people playing? They usually play with four but have more folks sitting at the table.

Is this enough? Is there anything else I should consider adding, like a lip around the table or anything else?

Are there any other accessories that would be beneficial to 3-D print along with the whole gift?

The reason I’m going with a folding table over a table topper is ease of transport, I can’t imagine he wants to lug around a 6 foot topper along with a table once a month.

I would love some feedback and suggestions from this community. Thank you in advance!

My new gaming room. Thoughts?

Still an amateur at this, but this was my first honest attempt at one. Sorry for the image quality.
