I have a Thinkpad x395 laying around with a ryzen 5 pro, 16gb ram and a 256gb ssd. its running reunion 7 at the moment. if i travel i use my 2017 surface pro since it has a better battery and its lighter, what do i do with the thinkpad? do i just put linux on it? i dont have a use for it at the moment really, maybe i should try learning more linux but maybe someone here can help me.

Hello, i plan on getting a e scooter to use as my main type of transport. It has 30km of range, which will for sure be enough. It is legal in Poland, and no, im not looking for speed or looks, i just want a legal reliable scooter to get from point a to point b and sometimes drive for fun. I also have a low budget, which explains why this model. Will it be good? Switching to a e-scooter since if i ride my bicycle for more than 2km my legs hurt a lot. It will be my first electric scooter. Thanks.

Hello, this is a weird question but how do i get rid of my fear of turning on/ plugging in old electronics? I got this fear after a 2008 thinkpad started smoking while charging. Now, i want to build a few retro pc setups from the windows 98 to XP era. And no, i wont be using a CRT TV, as those are kinda scary to me. Any help would be nice.

so I got a nano 1 recently, and no pc detects it. it turns on, plays the few songs that the previous owner left, but it does not want to connect to any pc. I have tried: windows 11, windows 10, Mac OS 15.5, linux mint. Tried to reinstall iTunes, update iTunes, use usb 2 hubs, 2 original usb 30 pin cables. Only once I was able to get error 34 in device manager on windows 10 with a usb 2.0 hub. I replaced the battery not long ago, and so im disappointed that I can't even sync my music.
