Need advice: Sony ULT Wear vs JBL Live 780NC vs Sennheiser Momentum 4
Hello wise people of this sub! I'm stuck between three headphones and need your advice. I plan to use these at the gym, and I sweat a lot, so durability is crucial.
Sony ULT Wear (~9,300 INR / $98): Love the feel. Pros: Includes a hardshell case and supports true passive wired mode (no battery needed). Cons: I'm seeing Reddit reviews about the hinges breaking easily.
JBL Live 780NC (~10k-11.5k INR / $105-$120): Pros: Better app features, battery life, and ANC. Cons: No hardshell case and no passive wired mode, which is a major minus for the price.
Sennheiser Momentum 4 (~15k INR / $158): Ticks all the boxes (case + wired mode). I really don't want to stretch my budget to 15k, but I will if the other two aren't worth it.
Sony ULT users: is the hinge issue that common? For heavy sweaters, how do these models hold up? Should I just bite the bullet and stretch for the Momentum 4s?
