Severe heel pain

OK, I’m 6 days post Lisfranc button surgery, I honestly have a really good pain tolerance, so I stopped my medication for pain on day three.
That’s the day. I also accidentally fell on my heel because I was trying to crutch down the stairs and I hit my heel. But ever since Thursday, I’ve had unbelievable pain in the back of my heel and the bottom of my heel. Like to the point where I’m waking up in pain.

I haven’t been walking on it or anything like I’ve been super good about that, but I can’t even elevate my foot without severe radiating burning pain. And if the splint even touches my heel, it honestly unbearable.

It’s honestly to the point where it hurts more than my actual injury for my Lisfranc, which is really weird to me. And my Lisfranc injury was to the point where it was completely ruptured and my foot had fallen in. But now the actual surgical site doesn’t even hurt and it’s just the back and the bottom of my heel.

I know bruising of the heel is completely normal because of the pulling of blood, but I wanted to know if anybody else has had this type of pain and if I need to do something about it.

And pain meds aren’t working

I am on lamotrigine and aripiprazole but was diagnosed with an “unspecified mood disorder”

I don’t know how to start this off, so I’ll just explain. I was originally put on lamotrigine when I was 17 at 75mg and I was originally put on aripiprazole when I was 15 at 2mg (for paranoia, hallucinations, and a brief episode of psychosis) (which I know is not properly medicated dose like it’s not supposed to really do anything). I’ve had sporadic mood episode’s since I was around 16 like severe suicidal episodes and severe irritability and anger. But it was so sporadic that I would be totally fine after a couple hours and I wouldn’t be depressed or suicidal and it was just a constant cycle of being okay, being angry, being suicidal or being great. I also have episodes of severe emotional numbness. My mood also still does heavily depend on people. Which led to the diagnose of an unspecified mood disorder by my old psychiatrist. Slowly, I was put on 100 mg of Lamictal. It did help a tiny bit, but I still was having emotional episodes and mood instability but it was a tiny bit more manageable.

I have also diagnosed with panic disorder, anxiety, OCD, AHDH and when I was 12 I was diagnosed with major depressive disorder but I don’t think that’s still a thing.

Another important note is I have been on quite a few medications for depression which totals around 5. And every single one has not worked for me. I have either become super angry, suicidal, irritable, numb, or had my intrusive thoughts go insane. But usually all of them combined.

But my mood problems have slowly been changing into like days or like a week of complete severe depression and suicidal ideation and thoughts but then I’ll be completely ok and feel amazing for days or weeks. I also have developed quite an addiction to shopping and sex
Because of this my current psychiatrist has put me on a dose of 200mg of Lamictal. But has never said anything about a mood disorder such as my past one. But originally we did talk about why I was put with the label of unspecified mood disorder and they didn’t say anything but kept me on my meds.

lamotrigine has been great for me, it doesn’t numb me and gives a me a little bit of relief. So I have no problem being on it but I was just wondering if other people have had this experience and if it’s just normal to give it to patients without a diagnosis of a mood disorder.

Bipolar disorder does run in my family. My brother has it and so did my grandpa. So little part of me is thinking about that but I am not seeking out a diagnosis and not claiming I have it. It’s just in the back of my mind sometimes.

But yeah, I just wanted some advice and if you have any questions, feel free to ask I have a long history of mental health issues. I just didn’t want to make this longer than it already was
