Hair transplant temple revision
So I got my procedure done at In May of 2025. It’s been about a year, and I’ve not been too happy with the results. They did me for 4,500 grafts for the front and temples. I’ve pretty much had cobble stoning everywhere they implanted the graft. When I noticed the cobblestoning later they said it needs time, then when I asked again months later, they prescribed a topical that did nothing. When I asked where I could get a revision done, they said it’s not an issue and that I should use clay to stick the hair down which hasn’t worked. And for the cobblestoning they said look for a laser…
I’m not as much worried on the front because well the hair covers it if I grow it a little longer but the temples just look outlandish. I had assumed when they were going to do the temples they would match it with the side of my hair and have it lay as flat as possible. Well I’ll tell you this, it poofs out and looks ridiculous. It looks like a patch of hair that’s rises from the side. I have to strategically cover it with growing hair out and it’s a whole process.
Anyway, I was wondering if there is anyone who knows what I could do. Went from thinking if I got this procedure done I would feel free against the wind or not wearing a hat again, but now I feel 10x worse then before: Do I get the grafts punched out and have them done flatter? Also who’s the best doctor to go to for this revision? I’m not sure I can find any good one to handle this case for temple work. I’m also 23 now and got the procedure done at 22 and ran through 4500 grafts already so I want to be careful as some slight areas look sparse in my donor when I cut it short. Max I would prob look for a revision and touch up is 1,500 grafts at the max.
