Can I make a checkerboard pattern blanket this way?

So I really enjoy loom knitting but I have issues focusing for very long periods of time plus I don't really have the space to store it while I'm working on it or a loom large enough to do a full blanket especially since my brain tends to jump around from thing to thing all the time so it tends to take me a while to get projects done. But I came up with an idea which was to make an equal amount of squares of both colors and then sew them together when I have enough. That way it should be easier to store and I don't have to worry about trying to make sure I know where I was at and what I was doing when I pick it up again in two months. I also very frequently have problems with forgetting all of that if I stop for a few minutes so I figured that I could just make the squares and it should be easier to keep track of because there's less to keep track of. I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work. I mean I asked my mom and she said it should but she crochets and needle knits so I don't know if that knowledge would work for this. Help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Can anyone help me find out anything about this jar?

So this jar was found in a bunch of stuff from my great grandparents and I have researched a bit but there's still a lot that I can't figure out. Like is it double seamed? Because the bottom looks like it is but the sides aren't nearly as obvious. I think it is because if you run your nail across it you can feel the two lines on the side. Also what number is on the bottom? I think it is either a 6 or a 9 but I can't tell which and none of the pictures I can find of ones stamped with either number look like this one. I think its a 1923-1933 based on the logo but it also says Perfect Mason on it and some of the places I can find say the Perfect label was phased out in 1922 and some say 1923 so I'm kinda confused about that too. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It also has bubbles in parts of it. I don't know if that matters.

Why did this happen?

So my parents asked me to repot this sedum of some sort for a friend of theirs. I have ended up having it for a lot longer than I wanted to due to issues with finding a 3 inch pot that wasn't in a bulk pack that I didn't need. It ended up not even needing to be moved up though as it didn't have quite enough roots to move it up yet. So I just replaced the soil. I used the same soil I used for my own sedums and repotted it the same way I would repot those. It's under the same grow lights my others are. I use the barrina grow lights because my bedroom doesn't get much natural light. All of my other plants are healthy and not etoliated or anything and most of them have been in this setup for years. I only keep succulents and cacti(and 2 airplants). This plant had like 2-3 leaves per stem when I repotted it but then over the course of the next like 3 days they all just fell off. I have 2 sedum that I have had for years and I have repotted one twice and the other once. This has never happened to either of them. The only thing I can think that might have been the issue is maybe the repot stressed it out or something? It is regrowing leaves or stems or something at the bottom of two of the stems so hopefully it will be fine. I've been making sure to take the best care of it that I can. I'm having a hard time telling when to water it because I usually wait until the leaves start getting a little wrikley with mine but obviously that doesn't apply here so have been checking the soil every day until it is completely dry and then watering the next day. It has seemed to work pretty decently. I would like to know if anyone has any idea on why it would have dropped all of its leaves right after repotting I would love to hear it so I can avoid anything like this in the future. Also should I fertilize it to try and make it grow faster or would that just cause more harm? I unfortunately have no pictures from when it had all of its leaves as I didn't know it would decide to lose them all.

Found this little fella on my front steps

I took my pup out to potty this morning and found this little guy just hanging out on my front steps. I helped him onto the leaf of one of the plants that I have growing beside the porch since while it is pretty comfortable outside right now we are having a heat wave and it won't take very long before the steps get extremely hot. I think he's a Carolina mantleslug but I'm not entirely certain.

Very confused?

Edit: I forgot to add that these were collected in Tennessee, United States.

So I have an Armadilidium Nastatum colony that I collected from my yard about 3 weeks ago. I was checking on them just now and found this guy in with them. I did not collect any that looked like this when I was collecting them. In fact I did not see any that looked like this at all while I was out there. All of the ones I got were just wild type nasatum. The only other isopods I have are a small colony of "party mix" porcello pruinosus but that is definitely not what this guy is. I'm pretty sure he is some kind of armadilidium since he rolled up into a ball at one point while I was trying to get a picture. He's a little bit smaller than my fully grown nasatum but not by much. He is also very fast which is why the picture is not the greatest but I did the best I could. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Can I weave on my bead loom?

So I can't afford to buy a regular loom right now but I really want to try weaving. I read something once about being able to weave on a bead loom but can't find anything about it now though. I don't really know how to start. I have the bead loom pictured above.
