Set my phone up for a time lapse while I repaired my grandma’s sprinklers. This lunker was on her way back from some grape vines down to her valve box lair.

It's been two months with my buddy, you can also give me some advice on how to look better after him (i guess)
Scene i stumbled upon on my walk. Made my stomach turn but i also found it pretty cool? Nature doing its thing.
South West England, UK. Don’t normally see slugs this big here!
Just an update - located where the slugs were coming from.
I blocked it off and nothing since then but I do leave a low bowl of water in the garden with carrot and potato peels.
The heat wave in Europe is hitting us all. ❤️
Can someone ID this baby? It came in a wild mushroom shipment and I’ve had her since January. I want to know how long it’ll live and so far it’s eating mushrooms and greens but maybe it needs a different diet? Thanks in advanced. Edited to add: might be helpful to say that it most likely came from Washington USA or Vancouver CA area
Found on lettuce. What do I do with this lil baby? Gave it a temporary setup.
Picture doesn't do it justice. This thing was heavvvvyyyy. Biggest I've seen yet, like...huge.
Also, what's that stuff coming out of it? 🤢
my slug always climbs my snails shell and circles it for ages, and im so confused on why 😭i know he might be looking for calcium but theres a massive chunk of cuttlebone in their enclosure (which my snail uses) so i dont know why he would need to use the snails shell lol .maybe hes just hitching a ride? if anyone has an explanation feel free to share pls 🥹
edit: upon further inspection my species of slug does not eat snails so that’s not it! but how do i stop him from climbing on my snail? i dont want him to agitate my snail :(
Vivarium updates. Added more plants last night & cleaned Snail&Slug enclosure. (They are messy pets).

Bonus picture at the end of Mergy stretched out. He was my first slug and is a happy big boy.
The first one is called a pickle or gerkin slug colloquially.
For more info check out Gil Wizens excellent blog post: https://gilwizen.com/leaf-veined-slugs/
We have about 30 different species of leaf veined slug in New Zealand (Athoracophoridae) but they are not well studied. They thrive in damp native forest and numbers peak in winter. They are recognisable due to their gorgeous leaf vein pattern however this is not present in childhood when they are more like gummies.
I recently found my second clutch of eggs and decided to raise them in captivity to make observations (and also cause they are cute af). I can't work out how to post pictures and videos in the same slide but here are two of the babies. Their are currently between 12-15 but they are the size of grains of rice so hard to tell. If anyone wants I will make another post with more photos.
Feel free to ask any questions I will do my best to answer.
My children discovered all these species under one log. Don't worry, we will be returning them.
I was wondering if anyone would be able to help with any of the IDs please. I assume one to be the green cellar slug?
Location: South west UK
Found this lil guy outside my apartment building
I have 8 4 month old (balkan 3 striped? Sorry google is saying many species names) slugs (there were 10, but 2 died these past few days :( ) and currently we are going through a really bad heatwave with 40 celcius outside and ~30 inside my room. Even weeks before this, starting in may, my slugs started to stop eating, only touching cucumber and maybe carrot. I could still trick them to eat some calcium or other veggies by making puree, but now they are not eating at all. They still look hydrated and are moving around, I make sure to change their food daily and spray then with water 2-3 times a day. They are skinnier but still have energy and most of them looks healthy. I had 1 slug who was very skinny and noticably ill, he passed away the next day, another slug escaped during cleaning and I found him today, all dried up. I tried everything, giving them shade, changing bedding, making puree, trying new foods and others they used to love. They don't eat them. No poop found anywhere today. They have been going through puberty and have their little slenis out more, but mating season shouldn't make them act this way right? What do I do? I put ice pack wrapped in towel for them to keep them cool but even when the heat is low they don't eat :( I'm so worried and I don't want to lose any more. I had them since they were eggs.
