My partner and I are looking to switch banks. I’ve been with the same bank my whole life. What banks are good? Currently with CIBC but was told by a finance friend to get a different bank as we shouldnt have everything (mortgage, insurance, savings, chequing, RRSP, RESP) all at the same bank.
I have two sons, ages 2 and 5 (almost 6). Looking for advice for chilling them out in the house a little without screen time. Theyre great kids, no behavioural issues, relatively good listeners. My only struggle is they dont play with toys or games, they just run, jump, yell and act crazy 24/7. They only slow down for screen time.
What are you doing to redirect that energy when we’re stuck inside for a day? I try activities but they only last a few minutes. They just have endless energy. Its going to rain all weekend and Im struggling over here lol.
In the next month we are ripping up a small asphalt patio area in our backyard and installing pavers. This asphalt is connected to our asphalt driveway, which is very old with big holes and very bumpy. We plan on replacing the driveway with gravel in the next year or two.
If you were ripping up the asphalt in the back, would you also take up the driveway while you had the supplies, considering they are connected? Is it possible to leave it bare until next spring? After getting the pavers we cannot afford the gravel at the moment.
