currently sitting at 180,000km and aprox every 500km, I'm having to add a litre of oil to keep it from dropping below the "min" line.

I don't see any leaks under the car, there's no lights on the dash, I don't notice any blue smoke out of the exhaust. Engine operates normally but this is unusual amount of consumption for such a low interval.

The only indicator I have is the oil cap has a crazy amount of suction when at idle. Is it most likely the PCV?
