Baldness cult

Hello all.

I’m a lady and I’m not entirely aware of all the treatments for hair loss available to men. Just going from popular consensus, people always try to make hair systems out to be undignified. I’m scrolling through this sub and I’m kind of surprised at how great you all look. I wouldn’t be able to tell nearly any of you guys don’t have natural hair.

Given I ended up here because I was looking up critiques on how r/bald seems to be some type of cult where men tell other men they look great bald even when they don’t, seeing just how good the systems look made me wonder about this cult-like behavior even further. Is this just some sort of collective cope? Do they want everyone else to be bald so they can feel better about themselves?

Obviously I don’t speak for other women, but I see nothing wrong with a man wearing a system and it seems to me like most people who criticize them are bald men who aggressively want other guys to just grow a beard and shave it off. Either that or people who have this mental image of really bad toupees, which judging by people here I see is far from the truth.

So why do you think there is such fervor in mostly millennial/gen X males trying to push other guys into that damn bald bearded look?
