I figured you out

It really wasn't too hard.

And here I am, having said to my intuition "noo".

But I figured it out with the little things you said when we first met.

The way you described your exes.

The way you said it ended.

And how even so nonchalantly said you cheated.

Why didn't I listen?

Could be because you had such a mysterious air about you.

It was something I kinda recognized within myself.

But we are so different.

Because that mysteriousness is not confidence.

In you, it is a mask for the fear.

The fear of commitment.

The fear of truly knowing; growing.

You're afraid.

Afraid of holding the very pain which makes life.... life!

You leave every woman you are with when their life gets difficult.

It's a clear pattern now.

You leave when they need you the most.

And you walk away with their heart while they stand there holding both the pain you caused and your own.

I would say it is smart, to avoid your own pain by outsourcing it like that.

But no, no, it is really just weakness dressed as depth.
