Etching Business Cards?

I am looking to make individualized business cards. I understand that it may take a more powerful and expensive laser to actually etch the metal. I am also open to doing the non-etching where it just removes a layer of paint.

I don’t know that I will get into it as a hobby, so it might just be this one project. I am willing to buy a more expensive machine if I need to, then potentially resell it later.

Does anyone have any advice on specific machines or cards to purchase? Any other general advice?

I’m a novice looking at buying a primary residence in a city with high taxes. I’m wondering if there are strategies with financing that might limit future property tax increases?

Is it reasonable to ask about paying agent fees separately so they do not increase the cost of the house, and subsequently contribute to higher property taxes?

What if we agreed on a price for the house, then say decided to pay $50k for a painting (say, from IKEA) to be included in the deal so the total was the same?

Obviously not looking to run afoul of the law, but also I don’t want to overpay.

As a first time homebuyer I got a loan from a friend’s family member — they were great. A few days after closing I was informed the mortgage would be serviced and/or owned by a new company I never heard of.

That new company is AWFUL. I had one simple question for them in 10 years and it took them MONTHS to answer. It made me worried about what might happen if I had a real problem.

Are there any lenders who will keep the loan or do they all offload them to rotten companies?
