How long should you be in a role before asking for a promotion or payrise?

Basically the title. Curious what most would consider an okay time to ask? Would you also ask for a payrise earlier than a promotion, or vice versa? (I appreciate this could be different across seniority levels, industries, etc. just trying to get a general consensus)

Found Shino on my 2nd NMT

Was expecting a long day of searching for villagers, but literally the 2nd island I visited I find Shino. That’s pretty good going I reckon? 😁😅

Whitney in Boxes (Lightly Gifted)

Let me know if you’d like her! I’ll be around until 11pm-midnight BST. I think I bought her fireplace from her lol

Friends, the game is getting stale to me, and I don’t know what to do

Edit: island is 4 stars, not yet got to 5 but I’m struggling with the boring selection my shop always seems to have lol. 10/10 villagers, don’t really like many of them and nobody’s left in 2+ weeks. Got all flowers except blue roses, which I am trying for 🥰 ty for all of your suggestions so far! 💕

I’ve been playing for about 2 months. In over 2 weeks now, I’ve not seen Celeste, nobody’s visited my campsite, none of my villagers want to move out. I never get rare islands from Kapp’n or the belongings fortune from Katrina. The furniture from Nook’s is so doodoo everyday I never see anything pretty or exciting :(

I’ve just hit a bit of a wall where I load up, do dailies and then switch off again.

So, how do you guys suggest I help myself to make the game fun again? I was so addicted when I got the game but now I find myself less excited to play. I want to be excited again! Lol

Tall women - where are you buying clothes from?

I’m 5ft 10 and really struggling to find tops that aren’t too short or overly cropped, or shorts that actually cover my thighs. Ditto with skirts and dresses.

My go-tos are usually:
New Look (but their tall range is abysmally small)
M&S and Next (they do long length on some bottoms but not loads)
Hollister (they have Tall lengths on dresses and bottoms, but wow their shorts range this year barely cover the essentials)

Places I’ve tried but don’t like:
PLT and Boohoo (awful quality, fast fashion)
Long Tall Sally (I thought this was the holy grail but their clothes are all polyester, viscose and nylon - barely any cotton or good quality options)
Shein (don’t even)

So to my fellow tall women in the UK: where on earth are you shopping and buying clothes from? I’m really struggling this year and aaaany recommendations are welcome!
