I started Bimzelx at the beginning of May, so it’s been about 4 months. I have HS, and so far Bimzelx has kept it in remission, which is great, but I’ve basically been sick since I started the med.

After my first two Bimzelx doses, I ended up in the hospital with pneumonia and dehydration from diarrhea. Since then, the pattern has been the same. When I can take a Bimzelx dose, I get an URI and diarrhea about a week later.

My derm wants me to continue. My PCP is at a loss (unfortunately my HS is complicated by other factors). I just feel like I’ve aged. I’m in my 30s, never sick, and now I have literal broken ribs from coughing all the time.

No HS though. Anyone else deal with this?
